This was just recently mentioned over at the Digital Pinball Fans and I think the idea would work here in getting rid of the spammers.
Instead of answering a question every time you post. Just ask the question when you register for a new account. Also, make the question pinball or game related. Something that gamers would know and most of the spammers wouldn't.
