Unless it's an HD upgrade I don't think it will make much of a difference. They still will have to design from the ground up so to speak. Its still won't be a straight port thus taking more time, resources, and money to develop for.Leave a comment:

I hope the New 3ds has more lots processing power . If it has enough power to attract ZEN then it will have great potential.Leave a comment:

I wish more US developers were making something specifically designed around the 3DS that isn't a cash in for a licensed property (not referring to Zen here, more like stuff like that Wreck it Ralph game and How to Train Your Dragon 2). I like the 3DS Zen Pinball games quite a bit, but they are overshadowed by the Vita version, which is much closer to the console and has pretty much everything PS3 has, even the exclusive NG Sigma 2 table.
I wouldn't mind Zen Pinball on new 3DS either, though it sounds like it's only slightly more powerful than the 3DS.Last edited by Brianvgplayer; 08-31-2014, 01:12 AM.Leave a comment:

It would still take time to re-animate the animations. The biggest problem is the processor and memory in the 3DS. It's just not sufficient enough, especially for their latest tables which are extremely flashy.Leave a comment:

Would it help if they went and cut the 3D and just gave us the tables.Leave a comment:

Outlook not so good. The biggest issue with the 3DS is the obsolete hardware. Zen can't simply port a table over to the 3DS like they can on the other platforms. They have to go in and rebuild the tables (reduce textures, alter animation, add in 3D, etc...) for them to work properly on the 3DS.
A great example to look at is the Iron Man table. The 3DS couldn't handle the animations of Tony Stark transforming into Iron Man when starting up a mission, so they created a new animation where Tony Stark just jumps into a hole and comes out as Iron Man.Leave a comment:

I doubt we will see anything soon if at all. Love my 3ds and pinball but I personally thing after their last comment we've seen the last of Zen on the 3ds. It was a good run though. I do however would like to see Zen Pinball running on the new 3ds. I wonder if it will look and play better with less blurring and a faster processor.Leave a comment:
