  • Licensing Partnership

I've seen some posts here that have started off the same way... so here it goes... I know it'd be a copyright headache... But, I wish that Pinball FX could start a partnership with STERN pinball. My favorite table of recent memory is "Lord of the Rings". A videogame duplication of this table would be spectacular. The playfield layout, the ease of knowing what to do and where to go... It's just a fantastic table. I've had alot of fun with Indiana Jones as well. If not for having the licenses to the movies at least duplicate the layout of the tables and create your own stories and challenges.

    Just an idea....

    Stern tables

Hey Spoonman, you'll get what you want with a Stern partnership, but not with Pinball FX. The creators of Pinball Hall of Fame games are set to release "Pinball Arcade" on all current systems early next year and they have licensing with Williams, Bally, Gottlieb, and Stern. Check em out.

Unfortunately Farsights physics engine is not as good as the one from Zen. And yes, licensing issues are too difficult to handle for Zen.
But what about a collaboration between Zen and some famous pinball designers like
Steve Richie (High Speed, Black Knight, Star Trek TNG, etc.) or
Pat Lawlor (Fun House, Earthquake, Whirlwind, etc.) or
Larry DeMar (Fun House, Addams Family, etc.) or
Eugene Jarvis (Space Shuttle, High Speed, F14-Tomcat)
      to create new marvelous Tables.

"katcha" are you actually speaking for Zen?????? And as far as Farsights physics go you may have played their ealier games but you haven't played Pinball Arcade so you have no idea what their physics are like.

Well i saw the trailer and what i saw is pretty much the same than what i saw in earlier Farsight pinball games. I guess they just fiddled around with some parameters of their engine but as far as i can tell from watching the trailers the ball in their game still does not roll or rotate.
