Hey everyone!

At E3 this year I got to meet our voice acting director, Jonathan Klein. He had so much cool info to share with me about what is involved in doing voice work for our games, and we thought it would be awesome for you guys to get a chance to ask him questions about his experience working with us on our tables. Awesome! My question is: How did Zen approach you to do voice work for their games? Have you played any of the pinball tables? If so, which one is your favorite?

Oh wow. Well, my question is what do you look for when seeking voice actors? Or more specifically, how would you suggest someone get started in voice acting?

That's actually one of my dream jobs, believe it or not. I'd love to help out on one of the future pinball tables. I mean, seriously. I've thought for the past several years that being a voice actor for a video game or an animated show would be the greatest thing ever. I just have no idea where to start.

The voice in the first trailer wasn't done by them. It was a kind of cobbled together last minute hack job, much like this.

How much time on average does it take to record all the lines for a single table?

I know you gave hard numbers for the amount of lines for Infinity Gauntlet, and that made me curious to know the amount of lines recorded for the other tables. Can you let us know?

Are there any particularly hilarious/silly/embarrassing/awesome out-takes from the recording sessions of these tables they would be willing to share with us?

Wow! The answer he gave for how to become a voice actor was exactly what I thought he would say. That question gets asked so many times in the game and anime industries.
