  • Zen Pinball 2 - Some tables are too "busy"

I am a big fan of the Zen Pinball series. I bought it for my PS3, iPad and for my Mac.

I downloaded ZP2 and really liked the free "Sorcerer's Lair" table. It is clean and lots of fun to play.

I then got "World War Hulk" and "The Infinity Gauntlet" and I was sadly pretty disappointed.

The infinity Gauntlet table was the worst of them. Too many things going on in the screen at the same time. Transparent ramps, graphical effect, repetitive music and constant talking from some character. I felt dizzy playing this table. Adding tons of effects to a table doesnt really make it better IMO.

I really hope to see future simpler tables such as "Sorcerer's Lair" and "El Dorado".

I will get the rest of the tables and hope for the better. Thanks.

You're one of the few who's ever complained about Infinity Gauntlet lol

I can certainly understand though, sometimes it's nice to just play a more simplistic table, Infinity Gauntlet can get pretty overwhelming with all its craziness

That's what I was thinking. I guess the Marvel tables could be pretty overwhelming compared to some of the Zen tables. Especially if you haven't been there for the entire progression as some of us have. The Infinity Gauntlet is actually a slow playing table so I'm surprised by the comments.

Honestly, the only table that feels busy to me is Ninja Gaiden. It is hard to see most of the upper playing field. I think WWH is perfect for what it is trying to portray (a warzone) and Infinity Gauntlet is just about perfect in every way.

I like the Hulk table as well! I say the busier the better. I don't want to figure out a table in a matter of an hour or so. For me it makes the table have lasting appeal!
