  • Fx3?

I may be mistaken but I haven't heard any news about Zen's plans for the new xbox. Will it be FX2 or FX3? It seems like the FX brand is due for a title update. I just hope that FX3 eventually makes it way to the Steam platform.

Will fx3 make it to Xbox360 or is that stupidly optimistic?

I'm a late technology adopter for budget reasons and have only had a 360 18 months.

I want to keep buying tables (have full set on 360 and Android) but won't be getting next gen for a couple of Christmases.

No details on Xbox One stuff just yet, but I will post once we have news. We're still mid-PS4 launch right now, one thing at a time

I wasn't expecting any official news. Just curious about what other forum members thought about it. I was thinking about this thread when I made the comment:
        https://forum.zenstudios.com/showthr...Pinball-forum)

It describes a game informer article back in 2012 where Zen discusses plans for FX3. Now that we are approaching 2014, I imagined FX3 has been in the works for awhile now and that the timing for an FX3 release seemed plausible.

Yes I am also anxiously waiting for Pbfx3 on the Xbox 1! I can't wait to see new features as well as better graphics. Zen rules and when the day comes any and all tables will be immediately purchased!

Pinball FX3 is about the only thing that will make me an early...ish adopter of the XboxOne. I do assume though that a slightly less shiny and maybe FX2 framerate version will make its way to the XBox360 as well, which would be more than enough for me for the time be. In practical reality (and all honesty)... wife's and Xbox One's don't see eye to eye if you still have a nicely working Xbox360... Anyway, I have been in discussions over the years about feature's (e.g. leaderboard board changes, tournament structure etc.) that would not be implemented in FX2 but would make its way to FX2.5... that I guess will not happen and it is more logical that Zen will use their prioritized manpower to develop new games including FX3 and tables. One thing to wonder about though (which would make some financial sense for Zen in my opinion) is if FX3 will also only allow a limited amount of tables from the FX2 library to make their way to FX3? That would suck though because I (and wify's sensible prevention there off) will not rebuy all tables again (just like I have not done on Android) even though I would like to have all tables I have purchased together on my best platform. That reminds me as well... just like any other game on STEAM, Pinball FX2 (and other Zen games) is also available as a copy on popular torrent sites and that must definitely be chewing into Zen's profit margins on that platform... I hope at least that those players can't post on the leaderboards.
