Hello Zen

Seeing the post in the SW thread, with the list of who worked on which games, I have a question. Wondering if you have ever released Developer Diaries for the pinball games? I found a Castlestorm vid on Youtube, but nothing for pinball. Just curious, I enjoy watching those kind of vids, seeing all of the work & passion going into the game development.

Or do you have links to some in-depth interviews?

Got me thinking, I remember a video or at least another interview which was about how the designers go about creating a table but can't find it anywhere. It was from a while back, anyone got a link? Unless I dreamt it...

Some exclusive developer diary extracts for you:


Jan 18th – Had some great ideas for tables today but boss says I have to do another Marvel one. Oh well…

Jan 19th – Ive never heard of this character. Just reading the comics now to try and catch up….

Jan 23rd – Its just been reported on the forums that the leaderboards are completely broken. Boss says this is low priority and can be fixed later as people don’t really play for the scores. Anyhow Barbie has been instructed to put the blame onto Microsoft hehe.

Feb 1st – Man from Marvel saw the table in progress and pointed out that this character has 47 horns on his helmet not 48. Now I have to change all the graphics.

Feb 10th – Nearly finished table. Been told to make this one super easy as people complained last one was too difficultt. I think there are a few bugs but boss says it will be fine as it’s only a few moaners on the forums who notice.

Feb 11th – Whoops nearly forgot to add achievements. Quickly thought up a couple whilst making a cup of coffee.

Feb 18th – Release day! People have only played it once or twice but are already saying it’s the best thing ever and Zen have upped their game again. Might ask the boss for a pay rise.
