Welcome to the forums!
You can buy both Zen Pinball and Marvel Pinball (along with the add-ons) now if you want.
Zen Pinball 2 is a free platform/upgrade and all table purchases from Zen Pinball and Marvel Pinball will carry over.
In other words, you only need to purchase the tables once and that's it.

Any help would be appreciated! In the mean time, I'd recommend buying Marvel Pinball if you don't want to wait for ZP2 (because who knows when it's really releasing. Hopefully within the next couple of weeks). It has better physics and graphics than Zen Pinball (these things will be updated in ZP2) and is a blast. I have only Marvel Pinball right now but am excited to finally purchase all the Zen Pinball tables because of the updated physics once ZP2 drops. Hope this helped!

No, Zen does not make real tables. However, the game developer Farsight does. They released a game called The Pinball Arcade. It is excellent. They currently have or are working on Tales of the Arabian Nights, Ripley's, Twilight Zone, Funhouse, Black Hole, Theatre of Magic, Cirqus Voltaire, Monster Bash, Gorgar, Medieval Madness and Bride of Pinbot.
