Hi everyone,
I’m Christopher. I’ve just registered on here.
After buying the Balls of Glory pack and having a few games of it, I thought it was about time I let Zen Studios know how much I appreciate what they’re doing.
I’m pretty much a Zen newbie, as the first tables I bought were the South Park ones in February this year.
I’m 33 and of the age that I remember real pinball tables being around a lot in the 80s and early 90s when I was too little to play them and around a bit in the mid to late 90s when I was mildly interested but more interested in my Playstation. I’m now lucky enough to live in a trendy area of London where there happens to be a couple of real pins in bars in my vicinity – Star Wars & The Simpsons Pinball Party.
I have The Pinball Arcade on my PS4. I have Seasons 1 & 2 currently (Seasons 3 & 4 are a bit pricey for what they are).
I also have a mini virtual pinball cabinet which has nearly 200 virtual tables on it.
My favourite real life pinball is Taxi, although I have only played it in its emulated version. I am still exploring the classic tables on my virtual cabinet and Pinball Arcade.
Even though I hope real pins still get made, video game pinball not necessarily constrained to real life pinball capabilities is definitely the way for pinball to move forward. I can’t help but think it could have been possible for no developers to realise this, and Zen does it so well.
These tables are so much fun. Clear, fairly easy to learn (for pinball), colourful and addictive.
Just wanted to say, good job! Can’t wait to see what comes out next!
