  • Hi there :)

    Hello Boys and girls

I'am here because I love the merveillous series of pinballs fx2 that I've discovered in windows 8 when i bought the notebook. After 3 years the notebook is broken (it start but doesn't charge anything, only the win logo). So, i must decide wich notebook I've to buy. To do this, I have to know if windows 7 accept or not the fx2 program to play pinball. If not, I'am obliged to buy that one with W8.

Can you give me that answer please?

    Thank a lot
    Mark

The game is not available for Win7. Win8 is no longer supported by Microsoft, so your best bet is Win10 at this point.

      why

      Sorry,

why fx2 is not supported by W7?
Where can I buy a dvd with ALL the fx2 tables, to play disconneted from internet?

I think play online with w8 is a big danger for our privacy and also for the security of the computer.

markbluesky, the online component is one big reason why digital pinball has enjoyed increased popularity. The leaderboards, the tournaments, etc. However, once you get the apps and tables, I do not think you are required to be online to play the game on most platforms. You can still play Pinball FX2 offline

My idea was that W8 and privacy aren't very good friends. My Toshiba exsperienced in the last days a big trouble after having
played online for a long time. Suddenly nothing worked and now it starts, but do nothing else thank this...id's not able to load windows 8. I've tried everything but it doesn't work.

So, never had such a problem with w7. That's why I asked if there is the possibility to play pinball with 7.

Now I've to buy another notebook and I have to decide between w7 and w10. If I buy 7 I wouldn't be able to play with fx2 I suppose...

Sorry, we don't have any physical copies of our games available, everything is sold via digital stores.

              how to buy?

              Hi again,

I don't think, like most of the people do, that everything should be gratis. Fx2 it's the most efficient and perfect pinball experience I ever played...so...you can give a couple of dollars to buy it....!
What I dont like is that you should have the chance to TRY IT before to buy! Not avery table is really amazing, some looks like "boring monday"

Anyway...now I've installed windows 10...can somebody tell me if I can play those pinballs a couple of times (I dont think so) or if I should buy them without having tried?

And if I want to buy some...what exactely do I have to do?

              Thank you!

where can i buy the tables

                Another question if it's allowed,

I see that in the xbox there are the same pinballs thank in windows eight, plus the new star wars.....I've seen that ZenStudios have more that these pinballs, but I cant see them in the x box application.

Any suggestions to buy other tables?

                Thank you

You can purchase tables from within the game, just select a table and choose the purchase option. This version does not have demos to play before you buy, but you can check the YouTube channel for trailers or read the guides to get more in-depth info on each table.

                    purchase other tables

                    You dont understand....

I mean, how can I purchase others Zenstudios tables that I cant see in the xbox...but I know they are existing?
(I think i must have seen a list somewhere...)

Another question...how can I do to save my tables if I have to reinstall everything? In which directory are usually those tables?

                    Thank you.

I see what you mean Not all tables are available in all versions, so if they aren't listed in game, they are not available for that platform.

If you have to reinstall, everything is connected to your account so you should be able to redownload them at any point as long as you are using the same account.

                        reinstall

                        mmm...

I prefer to know exactely where they are, because if I do a back up or an image of the disk I am sure that I can retrieve them immediately when I reinstall from zero, without need to download the tables again. As I said before, the price is correct, but I wouldn't pay the whole price again for those tables....
C'mon....I am sure you know in which directory they are stored

For the rest of the pinballs that we've spoken before....is there another plattform where you can play those tables instead xbox?

I don't think this is possible - I think you may have to reinstall from the store and not locally (as an anti-piracy measure) but I would have to check on that to be sure.

Which tables in particular are you referring to?

Hulk, most of the Star Wars tables, Wolverine and Avengers are all available in the Windows version of the game. Is that not the version you're referring to?
