I love this game, but I wish there was more explanation of how the various mechanics work.
1) Is there any difference between wood and stone when it comes to material durability? I would think wood would be less durable but perhaps the difference is just in the art. Can anyone confirm?
2) It seems that some projectiles do bonus damage to buildings above and beyond what their damage stats say. For example, the Morningstar seems to do less damage to buildings than the Tri-Stone, even though its actual damage value is higher. Is this the case? If so, which projectiles get this bonus?
3) Do the Norse have any fast flag grabbing unit like the Knights do (the Bear Rider doesn't count, it seems barely faster than the Berserker). This seems like a big gap in the Norse forces if they do not have a unit to fill this role.
4) What is the point of the Druid? Does his attack do area of effect damage?
5) What is the point of the Crystal Beam and Death Ray? They seem very lackluster and I don't see what they bring to the table.
6) What are the best counters to Dragons and Griffins? Almost no spells can be used on them, they are hard to hit with the ballista, and it seems no other units attack them (do Archers, Hammer Throwers, etc?)
As I said, this is a fantastic game, but the instructions and overall documentation of the mechanics was very poorly communicated. Any help in understanding these things would be appreciated.
