How do I restart from the beginning

Go to help & options, settings, then at the bottom of the screen it says "reset progress"

Great game for the money, totally addictive and great game play.

But I want to start a new game from scratch on a different difficulty level. How can I do this?

I realize I can replay missions, but I want to scrub my current char and start with a new slate.

Bought from Steam btw.
