I Can't Wait to Play Some CastleStorm

The announcement of CastleStorm's release to the Wii U at the end of the month got the creative juices going, so it is time for another addition to Everly's catalog of poems and songs. This one goes back to my teen years. Even though the movie Rock of Ages sort of ruined this song for me, you can't deny it is one of the great ones.

I can't wait to play this game much longer
December 26th seems far away
I sketch out ways to make my fortress stronger
But I won't know if it works until I play

The next ten days will seem to last forever
The needed space to download is now clear
To keep this castle standing I endeavour
When the vikings are defeated, my Kingdom will then cheer

The enemy approaches, it seems no end in sight
Should I send down brave Sir Gareth to the middle of the fight?
Cause they're getting closer than I ever thought they might

So I can't wait to play some CastleStorm
As those vikings are now right outside my door
It's time to put an ending to this war
Return them to their shore forever

Yes I can't wait to play some CastleStorm
Defend my fortress with the awesome might of Thor
And as my catapult lets out a roar, a victory I'll score
Barbie I can't wait to play some CastleStorm

Medieval themed adventure on my Gamepad
Throwing apples, eagles, even gaseous sheep
And it always seems there's another wave to conquer
But before we reach the sunset, the kingdom will have peace

Once my foes are driven across the fields of green
Then I'll play "Outcast to Savior" and "The Warrior Queen"
All of this happens in 1080p on the screen

So I can't wait to play some CastleStorm

You know what's funny is I haven't seen the movie or can I click on the song itself but just from the words and tune I know what song it is lol. Another great one Everly. How long did this one take like an hour and a half?

Are you saying that the Youtube link I embedded in the post for the music isn't working for you?

I got the idea when I was working out at the gym (at least the idea for the chorus) I wasn't able to sit down and write it out until the next day, but it probably took 30 minutes or so.

No its just my phone is older then dirt now (as old as me I think) and won't play it. If it were next week I would use my brand spankin new Wii U but at last its Thursday!

Oh gotcha. I understand now. I'm anxious for Barbie to find this thread. She usually likes literary efforts, but I think the PS4 release has kept her busy.
