Xbox one online coop not working

So just got this game with the games with gold, and playing online with friends is a disaster. We cannot get into the same lobby either you get put in a random or, you set at a please wait screen tell you disconnect. OUR NAT IS OPEN THE GAME WILL STILL NOW WORK!

Uninstalled, and re installed still not working

Any error messages or does it just fail?

usually just sends you back to the select class then goes to please wait over and over, or it just stays at please wait tell you get a network error.

The team is investigating this one - though it does appear to be fairly common in other games on Xbox One.. ooof.

nice to see the problem that i reported the day the game came out is finally getting some attention, i had given up on ever getting my moneys worth out of the game, and that's after i played the 360 version so much that i was number 2 on the leader board, hopefully it gets fixed finally so i can get all my friends that i talked into buying the game to see that when it actually works its worth the money, its a shame it took the game being free on xbox one for the issues with multiplayer to finally be addressed though.



and on a side note, its only castle storm in my experience, every other games multiplayer works.

Yep. Every other game is working. Enjoyed the campaign and had a friend download it. Tried online coop and just got the v
Cogs and the please wait message for half an hour and still didn't join...Please fix!

Try this:

1st player Multiplayer - Online - Invite Friends - (choose your friend 2nd player) - Party & Game - send invite
2nd player try to accept invite from HOME - Friends - activity feed - 1st player gamer tag - JOIN - GAME

Just thought I'd post this in here as well, I'm not sure about online, but for split screen, both accounts have to be gold. It seems like sharing gold is the problem on that end. So I'll take a stab and say the reason why the online is whacked out is because the amount of people sharing gold.
