Castle Storm on Oculus instantly fails

No problems with any other games I bought from the Oculus up til now, but Castle Storm will not even start, gives an instant error message: 'Castle Storm has stopped working' every time I try to start it. Need to find out how to make this work or otherwise how to get my money back.

GTX 1070, i7 6700, 32GB ram, Asus H-170 pro motherboard, running Windows 10, not sure what other info you might need...

The game fail is the price unfortunately, it is far too high for an old game that we all have played a long time already. Plus every review states that it is not a Full VR game but more an enhanced 3D version.

Why did the devs not implement a zoom or take control mechanic where you can fully benefit from VR by zooming right down to a sort of 3rd Person View ? The battlefield and surroundings would look so much better and make the game infinitely more immersive. Such a shame and a lost opportunity. I really wanted to buy this for VR but now after reading so many reviews and watching youtube videos and hearing the comments, it is a no buy sadly. Castlestorm 2 maybe ?
