Switch second player items

Hello

I understand that the secondary player on a local game can't be linked to an account on the SWITCH.
Ok.

Now, how do the secondary player unlock item to customize his look ?

Hello,

As far as I know, on my side the second (or any other characters you create for other players) will have access to any you've unlocked/"bought".

I generally go an customize my character from the home screen and check with my friends what they want for their character, "buy" it if I don't have it yet and then go in local match and customize the character from there with what's now available.
