Having an issue (fully willing to accept its because I suck.)[possible spoilers]

I figured out my problem. To much warcraft I'm used to not caring about text.

So I just bought Kick Beat because it looked interesting, and gameplay wise it is. I've been playing up to level 3 with the marilyn manson song, and have been getting to the end with more than half of my health still intact. Every time however I lose. Whats going on?

Fully willing to accept its just that I suck but my logic box is overheating on this as I am not dieing.

For anyone else having the same problem, be sure to activate Master Fu's Chi lightning to damage the mercenary boss.
