Colored circles sometimes not appearing below enemies

I've recently noticed this happening sometimes and it causes me to miss notes when I'm going for a perfect run.

This is on the steam version. Not sure if it happens on other versions.
So far I've only seen it happen with blue enemies approaching from the right side.
Happens very rarely (Once every 20 songs or so)

I don't know if this is a problem on my end or if other people have experienced it too.
