Settings for turning off the background without details

Well, in fact I am not sure if this behavior is a bug or it is intentional. Furthest parts of view are without details and it looks very unnaturally. I think 10 or 15 meters is not far enough to be seen without details. It is quite disturbing for me. Is it intentional or a graphic bug?

In case it is intentional, if it is possible, could you please add a new setting to turn off this effect?
