Missing firefly

Came here to check if a bug - it wasn't!

My ninth firefly was in the secret area

I’ve had the same issue. It’s likely a bug

I had to do the same thing at the world tree as my first instance there were only 8 fireflies. I wandered around for an hour looking for the last one and teleported away and came back to the prod tree with no luck. I had to go back to a save from before the world tree was accessed and proceed to the world tree for a first time and I easily found all nine. I think this may be a bug that should be looked into.

I gave up and started from an older savegame, replaying the world-tree-area. I found all nine fireflies immediately and could go on.

Sadly I overwrite the possible broken savegame, so I can not provide it anymore.

So I can be pretty sure that I am missing one. I searched the whole area several times, finding most of them floating and one or two sticking to objects. But I have only 8 fireflies in my inventory (I figured out the secret before, but in the secret area there is no firefly).

I switched back travelling to old areas trying to reset the world-tree-area - but I still cant find the last one (not at the start nor in any other part).

Is there are way to switch savegames or submitting a possible bug?

a hint, ive missed one in a room where u need to move tree logs to pass the plant riddle, not sure tho, just search all the area and theyre all there, not a bug, uve missed some.

fireflies

First all have to be turned off and then turned on. I found them all.

you need to collect them all thru the area so (like i did) uve missed at least one.
Turn them all off first to enter secret area (moon sign), then all of them on to proceed (sun sign exit).

There is one near the start of the area that you might have missed, flying out in the open.

Hi there,

a quick question - SPOILER AHEAD - :

In the area "The world tree" there a nine holes you can light up with fireflies.

Are all of them have to be lighted up? Because I searched the whole area (not only the dungeon) a dozen of times and find only eight. Is it possible, that this is a bug (this should be no pun)?
