The game is great. I've been taking a break from it, as I'm in the copper forest, and combat is still far too easy. I get tired of solving puzzles to unlocked gated content, rather than having challenging battles to complement such great riddles. The formula is far too predictable. Beat a few easy enemies, then solve an enigma to progress. Also, still finding there are too many poison-resistant foes. Mind you, this is all minor criticism. The meat of the game has caused me to invest 12+ hours, which is unusual for me with modern video games, and proves that providing open environments with tons of hidden content is compelling, I usually don't finish games I start. I will be finishing this one. Combat itself can be easily fixed, given a few minor patches.
