Cannot play fx in Portrait (using a cabinet)

Hi, hoping someone can help. I have a cabinet and just downloaded pinball fx, have set up cabinet mode with the ini file etc but cannot find an in game option to rotate the main screen to Portrait. Can anyone how to do this?

I tried changing the main screen to Portrait in windows settings but then when I start pinball fx it just fails and you get a black screen. Then I have to end program within windows task manager.

Please help!

You have to run windows in portrait. There is no screen rotation option yet in fx cabinet mode. Hopefully they upgrade the cabinet mode eventually when it is no longer early access.

Thanks that's good to know. However when I change to Portrait in windows... fx just does not open and I have to force quit the program.

Any ideas?

Unfortunately, there was a problem in the latest patch that caused this issue, the developers are investigating the situation.

hello guys, i had the same problem and i did the following to solve it, enter the game in landscape mode, in video change to borderless window, then go to windows display settings and change the orientation, automatically the game will change too. Adjust your settings and exit the game. Next time you come in, everything will be fine.
