Thank you very much for the request. 120hz pinball is definitely a smooth experience, hopefully, we will be able to make that happen on consoles in the future. I forwarded a report about your request to the devs.

I can confirm this too, I am playing the same. Absolutely 120hz, smooth as butter, no more stutter. It's supported.

Devs any word on this ? many of us have new tvs capable of 120hz. Yeah i do realize there's a lot who cant tell the difference, but many of us pinball fans can.

Yeah no definitely 120 hz... TV is also set to 120hz and running an app that measures the fps output.

I also game on PC and this TV displays 144hz when connected to my 3090 but I prefer xbox gaming these days. Good luck and hope you get yours working !

Pinball FX runs beautifully at 120fps and sounds incredible with Dolby Atmos Surround.

I have both VRR and ALLM enabled and Pinball FX game is running super smoothly at 120 FPS with rarely a dip.

I do not know about the LG TV's but on the TCL I had to enable VRR & ALLM in the system menu under settings before the Xbox settings would allow me to enable VRR & ALLM. Maybe LG has a similar setting locked away ?

I was actually really surprised how many of my games run st 120fps and waited to get a new TV thinking it was only few games but it is a huge selection. However I think the Series S may have a limited range.

Hope you get it working !
Your xbox is outputting the game at 120hz as it does many other games, but the engine is running at 60hz nor is this game optomized for 120hz. So you're really only getting 60hz. You'll see it / feel it when you get it.

The problem is once you've experienced VRR or 120hz in pinball its very hard to go back to 60hz. Just been playing on my pc and it feels so right. I don't know if the devs read these boards but please please please, there are many next gen console owners that bought VRR 120hz screens for their new consoles. We all love pinball please make it happen. And for those of you who haven't experienced VRR, you're in for a treat when you do. it makes the world of difference.

I have a series X and PS5, and neither have VRR or 120hz enabled. I have an LG 77" CX OLED and you can really feel the choppyness of 60hz.... On my PC its as smooth as a baby's bottom. The ball glides across the playfield, its soooooooo much nicer to play on PC. I was really hoping that the devs would take advantage of VRR at launch, but nope... is this something that's on the cards? its a really nice experience standing infront of a large OLED and play pinball, but no ball trails are going to hide the fact that 60hz plays infinitely worse than VRR.
Working...
