... ever respond to comments & questions on this board ? I have been back playing Pinball FX on X series X after long time and visiting this board over last couple of months. Apart from rare comments by Zen community manager, I have never seen a comment from Devs.

It is very disappointing, especially because this is a reboot of a great Pinball franchise and I thought there would be much more activity including from Zen people, if not the game devs. Feels like they have abandoned it, maybe too much negativity around the pricing model ? I really do not know but it is discouraging and a big missed opportunity to keep player interest & enthusiasm.

I really love this Pinball game but feel let down that there is now no new information or promotional talk about how great the pinball tables are, both old & new ... and no official response or comment to issues and bugs players have found. Sad !

This forum is crickets for me as well…Apart from occasional spam. But either way we should continue to try and get our points across.
Sure I’d like the bugs looked at or the sound balanced, but what I’d really like are more new machines…Where are the idea threads!? Someone nudge/bump them or something. I have a few rolling around but what is the point if nobody is listening.

Pricing of one or two things aside…remember you have to feed pinball machines money to make them work…just be glad Zen didn’t decide to make it 1 coin per play or something crazy. It took them many YEARS to get to this point. And I can envision a lot more tables in the future…But here is hoping it doesn’t go the route of real machines.

Oh really ? I have not heard, is that a new Williams Table ?

I have purchased most all of the tables now, just want the Star Wars Collection 1. now and Addams Family plus Raiders of the Lost Ark. There is a few others I may get later but Grimms and World War Z not really my taste. I think the pricing is fairly reasonable but given how many tables I bought, it was a fair hunk of cash and a discount for buying so many would have been nice for sure !

My favorites at the moment are the World Cup Soccer, the Golf one, or Gofers whatever, and quite a few of the Marvel & Star Wars tables. But actually I love them all and have become a Pinball addict. Special mention, My Little Pony is surprisingly enormous Fun !!!

But yeah, be good to have some active involvement from Zen in some form. Else the enthusiasm tends to wane. And what about the Pinball show they had, iit was great but s that now fully over too ?

No, CE is a different game by Zen.. Hadn't heard about it myself, i just googled it really quick.

With regards to this forum and Pinball FX, i would like a bit more support / feedback from the mod or devs for sure. Otherwise we can't be sure if our bug reports / feedback / questions would go down the drain:

We stop checking in for responses daily and therefor WHEN we get a response it takes ages for us to answer to that because we didn't check anymore after a few days. Then we're waiting again in uncertainty because go around time is so long.

I understand moderating this forums can't be a full time job since participation from users is really low as well, though. However there gotta be a better solution - discord is nice but also no 1 for all solution because it lacks structure forums can give.

In terms of tables: I 'recently' bought the Gearbox Pack because of the Brothers In Arms table, and it's fantastic minus the big which are really killing it for me unfortunately.

Otherwise there's quite a few Williams tables i like (i got them all minus Soccer and Indi), i started playing White Water recently and like it a lot - despite me not liking it maybe a year ago.

Addam's Family was a bit of a disappointment imho - maybe my expectations been just to high given it's the most sold/build pinball table ever. It's cool but nothing more than that imho, and these 'powers' altering ball trajectory put me off lately.

Other favorites are Attack From Mars, Bride/The Machine, Swords Of Fury, Medival Madness and both Monster Pack tables... pretty sure i forgot one, as usual.


Ohh, the Pinball show... yea i guess we get a new episode whenever Zen is ready to release some news other than bugfixes.

Anyone remember when Barbiebomb moderated these forums back in the 360 days? Seemed like a lit more engagement back then.

Are we just dinosaurs hanging around a forum when everyone uses social media? A Zen response pops up once a month but otherwise I feel like I'm talking to a brick wall.

If they respond at all it most likely would be on Discord. If you've never been there I will give you a warning... If your opinion doesn't match that of their "wizard" influencers you will be shot down immediately and ridiculed ferociously. I don't even wast my time.

I am 100% a dinosaur, but too new to virtual pinball to remember anything other than current days, i bought into FX3 shortly before FX early access was available and gladly didn't have to rebuy a lot of tables.

But, as a dinosaur, i am old enough to remember real world Pinball tables in the wild, not just specialized arcades - don't know if that is a good thing, guess it depends on the situation.

You sound like me ... Born early 60's played pinball machines through the 70's.

You are probably right about the social media & discord thing and the young people in marketing, communication & sales for video games etc couldn't care less for older gamers who might prefer the gentler pace of forums.

Everything has to be instant gratification now. Progress or modern thinking is how it is, like it or fade into obscurity.. guess it's obscurity for me !

This younger generation doesn’t even know what it was like to type cd\doom then doom.exe to start a game lol. I was born in the 80s and bowling and arcades was the place to be every Friday with your parents. Man I’m old lol

Lol, that makes two of us then, as I was born in 1980.... Luckily, my local shopping mall has a selection of pinball tables. Been playing Deadpool and Star Wars today, but sadly the Stern Guardians of the Galaxy table has been removed now. But still, can't complain.

Kids today will never know the 5 minute epilepsy inducing loading screens of C64 tapes, only to be met with the dreaded "R tape loading error" message of despair.

I don't use Discord or any of that newfangled social media tomfoolery, so will have to rely on this here forum with my fellow dinosaurs.

The development team is in Hungary and most of them don't speak a lick of English. I think only 2 of them have ever posted here. The marketing team on the other hand is located in the US and forward all info to the development team. That's from what I remembered what was said in an interview.

Pinball FX isn't abandoned at all, we will have many new tables coming, we just had to slow down our content release since the table packs are available in the first-party stores.

A new show-themed update is coming up this month as well. (April is going to be a huge month for Pinball FX )

(Our marketing team is also located in Hungary, we only have a few employees in the US)
