Yeah, it is definitely a great platform for pinball! Currently, we don't have any information about that, if that changes, we will surely let you know on our social media platforms and forums.

We will be able to confirm platforms and answer questions about backward compatibility once we have worked out some of the outstanding licensing hurdles involved. We would like to ask for a little bit of patience in this matter.
Which translates to "You're going to lose a load of tables"

Since then, we had a Pinball Show episode, where we addressed all the burning questions. You can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azXRN_Bqcmc&t=6s

Thank you for sharing. This is mostly new news to me. Shame Walking Dead (and Portal) won’t carry over but I understand the licensing challenges.

Hopefully, the bundle pricing will help soften the blow of having to repurchase all of the tables. The Star Wars and Zen Originals I will get first. Then Marvel. Maybe wait for sales (eventually) for the Williams tables as I have already bought those twice (Pinball Arcade and Pinball FX3) so not looking forward to buying those a third time. And generally, I don’t find those as fun.

If we want real tables, I’d love an agreement with Stern and music-based tables like AC/DC, Metallica, Iron Maiden, etc.!

Yeah, it would be cool! Actually, we have an AC/DC and a Metalica table in our personal collection in the office. Great ones!

                More 'Burning Questions'/Observations

I intend to purchase the new FX but I do have questions and observations:

-Spoke with techs at the electronic store Best Buy and they said that for playing VR, the PS5 is the best console. However, you can't find a PS5 unless you go on EBAY and pay 3 to 4x its retail price. Then you must purchase the VR gear for it. The Oculus is around $400. Then, as has been confirmed by ZEN, you have to re-purchase the games. All of that stands as a pretty tall order to even get started. Has ZEN taken all of this into account in marketing FX? I have yet to see one comment about the play-ability of the new next gen platform in the Forums from fellow pinheads.

-The million dollar question for me is this; can you turn off all of the noise/bells and whistles and play these games in, for lack of a better phrase, the 'CLASSIC' mode?

Sorry, maybe I misunderstood your question. Do you ask if the tables in the new Pinball FX will have the latest iteration of "Williams Physics"?

My main question got answered: After having bought and played on the platform I see that it does have a 'Classic' mode. But to your point; will the Williams tables have their physics in Classic mode that we now see in FX3? Thanks......

Currently, we don't have any immediate information on this, but once we will have more to share, we will definitely post it here and to our social media platforms.

No tables are transferring no matter what platform. You have to buy them again.

No. It has been delayed until sometime next year.
