I saw the Pinball Show on YouTube announcing this. Will the tables be rendered in 4k? I have all 99 tables; will these all transfer over to the new platform? Can I assume that FX3 will continue to be around as I suppose for the new platform, all leaderboards will start from scratch. I saw that you will be creating an original table with The Mandalorian, which is very exciting. I prefer the originals you have produced, yet, if you can get some licenses within Williams/Bally such as Raiders of the Last Ark and other movie themed pinballs, that would be extremely awesome. I hope you add some new badges and make it less about merely participating in tournaments and more about a badge earned; such as getting all of the achievements available, etc.

I really like this new upcoming platform but I also have a great concern about the pinball tables that we currently own. For example, I only play Williams classics and have a full size cabinet built for it. Obviously I am on PC. If the new platform is the way to go, surely should be able to have our current tables transferred. If not, FX3 should still be operational. Personally, in FX3 don't care about the leader boards or competition or even playing online. As long as we can keep our current tables it will be a wonderful thing.

As for the new Pinball FX, the announcement did not offer a great deal of information. Not really sure what is all about and how things are going to work? I watched all video tasers/ pinball TV. In simple words, I am curious but not excited, yet. A bit worried actually!

It would be very helpful to hear more constructive and more direct announcement about the new Pinball FX.

      Cheers

This would be the main gist of my concern(s) as well. I'm also a PC Classic Williams/Bally player and have zero interest in the arcade style functions (like power ups, etc.... ), nor do I have any interest in the community based gameplay aspects (although I don't mind the global leaderboard as an indication of how you're doing on a table).

An updated platform would be fine (especially if it cleans up the current mess of how multiple monitors must be set up) but I sincerely hope that any move away from the current single player/classic format would also include assurances that the current platform will continue to be supported in the foreseeable future.

As long as i get to take my tables with me to the new app then i will continue to buy more and support PBFX, as i have all the present tables across steam and xbox, and there is no way i am buying them all again.

            Hey Guys!

We will be able to confirm platforms and answer questions about backward compatibility once we have worked out some of the outstanding licensing hurdles involved. We would like to ask for a little bit of patience in this matter.

Since I have spent a good chunk of my life enjoying the global competition that includes the leaderboards, incorporate the old leaderboards of FX3 with the new Pinball FX that you leave the leaderboards as they are and allow us to BUILD upon what we have established. Please don't make us start all over to attain certain high scores that we already have. It would feel like all of our labor in climbing the leaderboards would have been in vain and THAT would really suck. Please give this some strong consideration.

And PLEASE allow all earned achievements we have go forward to the next platform. If I have to earn all of the achievements again, like this would be what, the 4th time, I will absolutely lose it....... I should only have to earn the newly released achievements for the new platform, such as the Mandalorian. Really looking forward to that.

would be sooo great and helpful. Your game will be much more attractive to the VIP-Community... for sure!

I would also like to see options above. Most importantly, options that are useful for cabinet users. Being able to disable useless features like moving cameras, plunger focus and menu/ score screens.

Zen Studios is very familiar with the user requests/ pinball enthusiasts and I trust they will make it possible. if tables are not backward compatible with FX3, hopefully we will get to see an updated features for FX3 and keep it.

                      Cheers

If Zen Studios is keen on going extra mile for cabinet users, I am wondering how hard would it be to have a fully functional and adjustable backglass for the secondary screen without any needs to look for static images from various internet sources?

                          Cheers

I watched episode #2 of "The Pinball Show" and it is becoming increasingly clear to me that this is a virtual reality, next gen platform (FX), and that FX3 is going to be kicked to the curb........again. The only mention of a new pinball this year is for the new platform and that is the Mandalorian. ZEN notes that later on in the year, they will release Mandalorian to FX3. In the mean time, get ready for a reloading of all the current table in the new FX with all sorts of distracting things flying about. Personally, I think this is to draw a new, younger audience to their pinball platform, since, like me, pinheads are for all intent and purposes a group of older dudes, like myself, who love pinball going way back. And I think it's great to have the new platform. No doubt I'll be buying what I need to play it. BUT, I SO want to continue playing FX3, particularly the classic mode, as I see that as a truer measure of pinball purity and skill. I had this pinball fantasy, as many did, that ZEN would be bringing hundreds of new tables through its Williams/Bally license as well as more original tables for the FX3 platform.

Hey flapsmojo! Thank you very much for your feedback! Regarding our new platform, Pinball FX, we will have more information soon, probably in the next Pinball Show, so stay tuned!
