  • Is VR pinball done?

    So what's going on?

Has there been one patch? Where's the new tables etc. I know it's a business and I guess we should assume pinball VR is not selling enough?

What about a PS4 Pro update like other companies that support their software are doing?

I bought the game full price months ago, was waiting for a sale, for the overpriced in canada, season 1. It's now on sale but I don't think I'll buy anyway because Zen seems to have dropped or ignored VR to the point where I don't want to spend another dollar. (I've bought alot of tables on 360, then bought them again on steam, didn't mind purchasing a 3rd time for psvr but now I'm kinda pissed)

So no more. No fx3 new tables. And I won't buy the season pass until i see support for VR. Support your games and I'll support you.

    Mini rant over. Thanks.

I'm praying it's not over as I've just finished building a Pinsim for it.

I am playing Future Pinball with my Rift for a couple of time now and I pretty much like it. Unfortunately this game still has some issues regarding the flipper physics. Although I never liked the idea to play fantasy pinball tables I got Pinball FX2 VR recently and I am pretty much thrilled. It is maybe the best Rift experience I had so far. Pinball seems to be made for VR, or maybe vice versa. If you played Pinball in VR, you never want to play it on a monitor again.

I like most tables Pinball FX2 VR offers. Paranormal is my favorite, what a masterpiece! The only complaint I have here is that most tables are too easy and take to long to play, which probably is due to the wide body concept. I love the hard 80s and early 90s tables. Somewhere is mentioned that ZEN maybe is going to make some recreations. (?) A hard Funhouse in VR with those fantastic flipper physics Zen offers would be so amazing, that I dont dare to dream about it. Imagine Banzai Run in VR ...

Like I said in one of the other VR posts, if there's ever a game for VR, it's pinball!

Yes. Thank you for this. I love VR and basically pretty new to pinball. Someone on another forum recommended that I try the pinball VR so I did and I love it very much. Definitely one of my favorite games now. And I find it very very relaxing during stressful times. I would not want to play a standard pinball game after playing it in VR. There is a nice variety of tables now but I would love to see more and I would purchase every one of them made I think. I think I have all of them so far. There are 9 VR tables correct? Or if there are others please let me know.

I was playing the ocean "Secrets Of The Deep" table most of the night last night. I'm currently #74 on the score charts for that table now. (unless someone beat my score since I turned it off last night.) It's such a nice table and with the sharks, fish, bubbles and little submarine surrounding the player. So relaxing to play the game while trying to stay aware of the fish and bubbles in your peripheral vision. I like to make a meditation out of playing. Clear the mind, relax, and just focus on everything in the game. Sights sounds and controlling the ball. I can see why it's called Zen. It helps with the stress of life very much and I thank you the developers so much for this brilliant relaxation tool.

Perfect! With all the money put into a PS4 Pro and all the PSVR accessaries, it's the VR Pinball I mainly spend time on. It's a relief that Zen will continue to support and expand on it.

                      Awesome news!!

I know people want the licenced tables (Starfighter assault being my jam), but your originals rock just as hard in VR. Thank you so much for what you've done so far, I genuinely hope with a better costing solution that FX takes off big time in VR.

Just another request for more VR tables. Loving it on the Oculus Go and that is before my controller arrives which should improve the experiance. Thanks for making this, my favorite game in VR.
