What is your favorite table
I liked Space Invaders and Sea Wolf but I loved Galaxian so I guess that was the first one I really enjoyed and would call a favorite.

What is your favorite table
Although Im more Marvel than DC, Im still into DC...theyre not so much lesser known characters, but I vote also for the Creeper wish Id kept my Ditko Creeper comics, and Deadman, and Etrigan...and what the hells happened to the Spectre, hes long due for a comeback...I always liked the spooky mystical DC characters...

By the way, what automobile auctions websites do you know? I recently found http://www.carfrom.us auto auction. I stumbled upon good salvage TOYOTA AVALON 1999. I'm pleased that i ran vin search before buying. It had rejected repair damage. Be secure and regularly run vehicle history record before buying.

I made a similar thread in the Marvel forums a while back, figured I should ask the DC side
what are your 3 favorite comic book runs in DC history?

OK mate, did it. Got all 10 Medals and started the final mode. Unfortunately I had no idea what to do. So I lost both balls pretty quick.

I am playing the Steam version with my Rift. Additionaly I am using a DIY controller called Pinsim. This thing boosts my results pretty much. Took me to third place and will let me be the first one to reach the Wizard Mode on Steams VR version. Har

I'm not on pinsim, but I'm at the top of the steam table. Oddly enough I fired it up for a game after seeing your reply, 8/10 again, I get the feeling it's harder to play in VR over it's flatscreen brother, it's not bad shots that kill you in Earth Defence, it's loose shots played on instinct.. which is why I fail
I agree though with the lighting on ww. One of the reasons castle storm looks so great is the dark environment.

Are you using a Pinsim? I am 3rd on Earth Defence now and dient know that nobody managed to activate the Wizard Mode. Pretty amazing.
I had an hour left yesterday and played Wild West Rampage. I still dont like it much. OK, it is fast. But I dont the theme, the lights are too bright (that night mission is great!) and those items that pop up on the playfield (i.e. dynamite ) destroy the immersion. Ich have to enter the Top 10 and then leave it alone.

So this means that the table has to be really hard and max 3 players (out of 1000) reached the wizard mode. Fantastic...

I'm guessing you come from either the psvr or oculus version, as the achievement of all 10 medals hasn't been cracked on the steam version yet, last time I looked?. I've had it on 9 from 10 many many times, with different ones needed each time. It's very much a table you can either play for score by ramming up the multiplier, or playing for the modes which unless successful will never score as much.
I wouldn't say Wide tables are everything, just Wildwest really is great with all those ramps and the ability to play it so naturally without thought. There's also Next Gen, one of my favourite tables irl.. That's the table I really want in VR

With a better business model more akin to what FX2 was, then more will come. It was a fragmented product left over from it's oculus inception, a more accessible buy in will help, as the main complaint was the bundled tables on a like/not basis. Hopefully there's a few more with VR sets to make it work out, without the need for a cover price as a steam product.
Wildwest Rampage is by far my favourite table. Wide body and full of natural flow, you can play it in so many ways. I like Castlestorm too, as it looks and sounds amazing in VR.
As for priority, with standalone headsets coming that can bolster the type of games Zen do, then there looking in the right place. VR's biggest problem is all the additional costs, which even make VR fanatics frustrated like myself, ease of access and portability also struggles in public perception. A friend of mine that wanted in on VR recently went with what he knew was a inferior windows headset and laptop because of that. 'If' the standalone devices are marketed well and succeed, then any bets Zen are hedging will be well placed.

While we are waiting for more tables to come, please let me know if you guys still play this game. What are your favorites tables and why? I saw that there are just about 1000 people on the leaderboards on the SteamVR version. Does it mean that there are only 1000 copies sold? If so, we should know why VR isnt Zens highest priority.Last edited by legislative; 03-22-2018, 11:16 PM.Tags: None
