Game not giving my Profile credit for achievements. Then it resets them to unearned.

I just picked this up on the XBOX One. In the game, I earn an " in-game " achievement.... showing a badge, and then on the achievement tab, it shows that I have completed it. These are the sorcerers lair 25+ ones, not just the dlc.

However, I get no popup from my console saying I have unlocked the achievement. In fact, I am sitting at 0/1420 GS. Each time I enter the game, it seems to delete my progress, and shows no achievements at all completed.

I have tried deleting both local and cloud saves and redoing them. Again, they only show as unlocked in the game, but not giving my XBOX profile any score. Exiting the game, and restarting it, results in it reseting the achievements to nothing. My achievements for this game are messed up badly.

Addendum: A second profile doesn't seem to have the issue. Achievements unlock on second profile. Just not getting credit on the tag above.

The exact same thing has happened to me twice now on the Doctor Strange table. Met the requirements for the achievement,game medal appears on screen but no achievement unlock on my One,only the game shows that I've got it. Exiting the game is also doing the same thing to me as the above.
