  • Unfinished tables?

Is Zen just cranking out so many tables that they just leave some unfinished in order to rush out more product? It used to be that it was rare to get a bad table, and the option to try before you buy has now been abolished to nothing but a tiny screenshot. The Doctor Strange table is probably the worst $3 I've ever spent. Almost no features and definitely none of the eye-popping interaction of the original tables.

I paid for the V12 pack because it was advertised as being in 3D (which it is not) and now this. Has Zen changed staff or is it just corporate greed taking over?

I was thinking about buying the Moon Knight pack, but am I going to get the same sloppy, featureless rush-job? Anybody have any opinions on it?

Moon Knight is one of my favourite tables, the flow of the table is really nice.

Shameless plug, but if you want to see it in action before you commit to buy, I'll gladly stream it over twitch, although be forewarned that I'm more than a little bit rusty at it!

YouTube is great for checking out tables before deciding to buy. But if you're anything like the rest of us, you'll buy them all out of insatiable addiction anyway
Zen Pinball 2 n00b Favourite tables: South Park Super Sweet, Return of the Jedi, Darth Vader, Han Solo, Tesla, Wild West, Butters.

I thought Dr Strange was great... its just one of those tables which you have to crank up with play - like Mars its sparse and empty but once it gets going there is loads going on and to see. V12 though... well yeah im with you on that but im not sure what you expected from a Zen Pinball original, it was an old table in the first place, one of the oldest Zen have made.

those were old tables, but i do feel your pain V12 is quite a horrid table. Just not my thing at all. Kinda like the blade table. Would rather stab my eyeballs out with a spoon. Out of any of that specific 4 pack, Eldorado is the best of them. Really enjoy that table.

lets put it this way, i'm not exactly crying over the very original 4 pack with that god awful Extreme table not being available on the one. Same with rocky and bullwinkle. Although i did enjoy speed machine and agents. I couldn't even tell you what the other one was in that 4 pack. wait, wasn't it nightmare mansion or something? i kinda enjoyed that table for what it was.

but dropping "corporate greed" over some old tables being available for purchase, that's just dumb talk. Could use some harsh words towards ya about intellect, but they are frowned upon here.

what surprises me the most is that you actually "bit" on the whole "3d craze" with tv's and video games to begin with. Have you noticed that absolutely no tv manufacturer right now actually advertises 3d as a "Feature" and that no recent blu ray movie releases even mentions it. Not only that, but no new video games as well? I mean I can count on exactly 2 fingers of what games supported 3d effects. Certain pinball tables with this game, and a call of duty game.

no one gives a crap about 3d tvs in the home anymore. It was a quick and painful lesson from the tv manufactures, tv shows/studios and movie studios in general that people actually wanted that crap, ESPECIALLY when they gouged you for goofy ass glasses that A) required batteries and B) cost over 100$ just to buy another pair of them.

just horrible marketing in general. Honestly, i'm glad this recent 3d fad is "Dead"
