Im going to be recovering my gamertag today since the achievements need to be re-earned to work.... yes i had to do this for Marvel Pinball core collection its annoying to say the least but it needs to be done.
I am going to do the same... I don't want to mess up my 100% on this game... Luckily the high scores were saved and uploaded to the leaderboards
Looks like previous high scores didn't count. The leaderboards are now up and Crackervizzio is above me! Tee hee.
(The swine is also above me on Wolverine now. He sent me a boast mail yesterday to the effect that he had 200 million now. I think he's paid someone to boost his Gamertag...)
Re Captain's sink hole shot, I usually go from it from the lower right flipper. You can shoot it directly, or with a slight deflection.
Re the multiplier advance targets, they're not rollovers (thankfully!). They are just 3 round targets. Hit all three and you advance the bonus. You can't hit these targets directly, except from the upper right flipper.
Re the Locks, 2 of them are ramps (left and right) which raise to become sinkholes (locks). To enable Locks, you shoot the Cosmic Cube defences (3 targets in front of the cube) enough times. The Cube will lower and flash, and a Lock sign will light next to a sinkhole. Put the ball in the lock, then lather-rinse-repeat with the Cube. After 3 locks, you start Sleeper Multiball, which involves a red robot.
The left orbit is between the parachute bumpers. The exit (right orbit) is where the upper-right flipper is.
The Red Skull ramp just dumps the ball in to the right orbit, slightly above the upper-right flipper. Shooting the ramp 8 times starts Red Skull multiball.
A shot on the left (castle) ramp will dump the ball in to the outer-left inlane.
A shot on the right (mine) ramp will dump the ball in the right inlane.
A shot on the ASSAULT ramp will dump the ball in to the outer-left inlane.
A missed shot above the ASSAULT ramp will push the ball around to the right orbit, where you can make a shot with the upper right flipper.
Shooting Captain's sinkhole (hidden, to the left of Cap) when it's not lit will put the ball just above the upper-right flipper.

Reason: confusing my lefts and rights, as usual. Changed Captain's sinkhole.
I think it would be cool if you could manually reset the Cheevos. I'd do it periodically just to create the challenge again. High scores are obviously fun to post, but having an additional objective...a lil somethin' to conquer...is always fun.
In fact, it'd be nice (and I can't believe I'm making this correlation) if they had something similar to Call of Duty Black Ops. Not necessarily contracts...but daily "missions" or goals that gave you additional things to try and accomplish. It would also create incentive to go back and visit those tables you've forsaken for so long. I might even create a thread on such an idea. I think it'd be awesome because it would give us additional things to shoot for from time to time on a given table, long after the cheevos have been taken down. I dunno. Just a thought.
By the way, looking at the overhead screen shot of this table, I can't help but think of the MARS table. The captured ball, when positioned on the right, reminds me of the portal you had to hit to start the one Satellite mission. The Assault ramp is eerily reminiscent of the Pyramid shot. The Bonus Multiplier drop targets make me cringe, as they make me think of the ones in Ironman on the right hand side used for multiball.
Couple of questions: Cap's mission hole seems obstructed by the Assault ramp. Can that only be hit with the gimp flipper...or...is there actually space underneath the ramp for the ball to travel? Can any of you gentlemen give some details on the rollovers in the center of the table, located below the bubble used to indicate the "Advance Bonus Multiplier" targets? I can't blow up the image enough to be able to read them. The word "LOCK" appears on two ramps, what appear to be inner/minor orbits. Details please. My eyes may be deceiving me, but it looks like there are a LOT of ramps/orbits on this table. 6 or 7 when including the two crossovers?
I'm so excited for this table in general. Can't wait.
Caps Mission hole is a bit awkward but with a semi-Late Right Flipper Shot you can hit it ok. Im not really sure with the whole multiball thing yet but on those ramps Sinkholes appear to lock the Ball from time to time. Sorry if thats confusing I just woke up lol.

I got the Cosmic Cube and Reunited cheevos on my first game, but yeah, they're not showing in my XBL profile.
I haven't gotten anywhere near the wizard mode yet. This game is a bit strange; I spend a lot of my time going for arbitrary goals (like Red Skull multiball) rather than trying to complete everything. I'm having a lot of fun just tooling around and learning shots.
Part of me doesn't want to get the wizard mode, because then I think I've "done the table". (Like MARS: once I got the wizard Cheevo, I lost a bit of interest in it.)
Yeh I think will need to delete our gamertags then recover it after release so we can re-achieve those, Ah when I was going for Wizard Mode thats the only thing I was going for in the playthro not trying to do anything else.
I also start the game by making sure I get Bucky with that skillshot thingy, if I miss it I restart the game. Then I go thro the Skull & Zemo Missions, Then Caps. Getting to Wizard Mode isn't hard but completing it is a bit, only Stage 3 of it is awkward the rest a pretty easy imo.
Oh but of course people like you gets a code. I notice the codes are being sent out to all the big shot internet dudes. And us normal people haven't a chance.
Big shot internet dudes? LOL Zen has been beyond generous in giving these codes to all manner of individuals, in a variety of fashions. I'm a normal person, and they were kind enough to give me a free shot at Mars. Truth is, while it's nice getting the table early, I'd still pay for the table. I like supporting the developer of my favorite game. Considering each table is only $2.50, I'd rather receive a free sneak preview, then pay for the table when it officially releases. I was gracious just to receive the table a little early. But really, just relax. Visit the forum a bit more frequently. Peruse Twitter and Facebook. Visit Zen's website. Good things come to those who are diligent...not big shot internet dudes.
Zen should be applauded for their consideration of fans. Of course it's disappointing when you don't get a freebie in a contest, but crackervizzio did ask forum-goers if they wanted a freebie... And that's pretty cool for any company.
Frequent these fora, get involved, and you have the same chance if and when Zen release the next round of codes/tables.
Or head over to Facebook before Saturday night (US time); they're giving away codes there. Also, on Twitter.
See? This. Hope you're enjoying the table. Keep it warm for us.
I sent a PM and he gave me one. It's not that hard. Any newb could have done that.
Same here.

Here we go again! FYI, this is the first time that I've ever gotten a code. I was just at the right place at the right time. That is all pal!
If you want a chance in getting a code, then be more active online so you can see the opportunities.
They give away these codes through various ways. Some on these forums, some through Facebook, some through Twitter, some through certain podcasts and some through tournaments. You just need to be at the right place at the right time. It's not my fault that I'm active on these forums and have a Facebook account. Sheesh!
I just saw a post from crackervizzo (Zen rep) on the PS3 section saying the following.
Send me a private message if you want a Captain America code for some pre-release action.
I sent a PM and he gave me one. It's not that hard. Any newb could have done that. I actually saw the post five hours after it was posted and he still had codes left when I PMed him. That's telling you something right there.
I just got a code for the PS3 version and I'm also really enjoying the game.
Yeah, I noticed that too. I think it's a glitch, because it doesn't do it all the time. I thought I tilted the table on more than one occasion because of it.

Just got the collect all the commandos achievement, thats the last 1 I needed. But it seem that achievement updated my gamerscore and is visible by others, tho the other 2 achievement have not updated. Guess that means come release Il have to recover my Tag and do the other 2 again.
I honestly believe this is Zens best work, the Table feels so fricking great. Oh and for defo the hardest part of Wizard Mode is Stage 3, Stage 4 is the easiest for me since I hit Ramps for fun on this Table.
I got alot of juice for my guide now with my longer playthro's etc.. should start the write up next week.
Well lets hope our Achievements update so our friends etc can see them on Weds, I remember with Marvel Pinball I have early entry 2 and I lost my achievements etc when it went live. Its like it was there but like wasn't active had to recover my profile and re-achieve them.
Anyone worked out what those red lights do on the Ambush minigame? (Apart from the 9 yellow bullet lights, there are also 8 red lights. One of them is sometimes lit, sometimes none.)
They are for the Supply Drop mini-game. It's the same mini-game as the Ambush one, but each one of those icons are a reward. One of those is the ball save and another is to lit the extra ball.
Ah, I see. Hmm, that's a lot of work for such a little reward. Even if you turn 4X Bumper Scoring on, that's not much, relative to mission rewards.
Each word you spell out, lights the Supply Drop target to activate the Supply Drop mini-game.
I should also note, that if you found all four of the Howlers. The supply drop target is constantly lite.
Ashame the leaderboard for Cap inst working. I do hope when the table officially releases the achievements are not removed.. becoz at the mo no one can see them but the earner.
The PS3 version's leader boards are up and running. For some reason, I find it a little amusing.
First place is me with 516 million, second place is only 31 million and it goes down from there.
