This is a great table, it feels like Nightmare Mansion 2 to me hehe. It's great to play a 'new' original concept table again. It's a little easier than I hoped but it's a lot of fun, thanks Zen!

Curious. The game showed up at the normal time here in Australia. ~9pm ACDT. XBLA releases are usually like clockwork for us.

Mind you, we normally have to pay more than everyone else in the world for the privilege.

Yeah, I'm a bit over the whole mission thing. Once I've got the cheevos and have gone through a wizard mode once or twice I find my interest in the table disappears. So I'm playing less, I don't look at the game rules anymore, and I just have a bit of fun instead of setting out to get a high score.

Same reason I'm not participating in the tournaments: the grinding required actually reduces my appreciation for the game. I'd rather keep the tables fresh, than overplay them.

I really think the cheevo structure needs an overhaul. More cheevos, with lesser values, for doing more interesting things. Combined with, say, weekly goals and a points leaderboard. Stuff to keep people interested beyond just a grinded score.

        =/

Does Xbox have multiple servers due to regions or just one? Maybe something like that happened. I got tired of waiting then feel asleep. Woke up, and forgot about the table until i got back from my run.

Ill be sure to try and get the 15 obsidian stones of course but why not make that the 30g and make things a bit more challenging for those of us who enjoy them?

I know I know, its because the casuals have to kept happy by feeding them easy cheevos and millions of points, expand the player base, make more tables yadda yadda
            Question-answer.

But i agree with you, putting a challenge in an easy table would be a nice idea. After all, novice players will never complete this game ( speaking of getting all the achievements) because some VEY VERY tough are already existing, so why not another one? I got all of them here in a couple of plays( like everyone else) but getting all the stones would have been a different story...

Easy tables are only easy in the sense that you experience all the content quicker than another table. As far as scores go, everything is relative. If it's easy for you, than it's easy for everyone, (and vice versa) which is why benchmarking your scores against the leaderboards is the only real way to measure yourself against the masses.

I think the Sharpshooter achievement would have been quite a tough one but unfortunately it seems to be glitched...

It unlocked properly for me the first time I played the table. The only requirement is killing all ten spiders in <20 seconds. Not having to escape makes it quite a bit easier.

There's definitely something funky with it, either the requirements or how it's rewarded. I *think* I got all 10 spiders in under 20 seconds, but wasn't awarded it. Later it popped randomly for me after finishing the bones mission.

Yes, it definitely sounds broken going by reports on the forum. I was just clarifying that it actually worked for me...and letting others know that hitting the exit is not required.

I'm sure this request would be best addressed in the form of a guide, but can you provide any insight as to how one goes about triggering the things you listed above?

For the record, this and Ms. Splosion Man have easily vaulted into my top 5 tables on the entire FX2 suite. Seriously good work. It's amazing how you guys have turned up the dial on your level of excellence. I've never more readily spent MS Points on the Live Marketplace, knowing ahead of time that I'd be happy with my purchase.

I would be interested to know how to get obsidian stones out of the multiballs - dont think that has happened for me yet.

On the launch lane, there's a gate, a hole on the left side, a rollover (small wire switch) right above it and another gate right above that.

The goal is to launch the ball hard enough to hit the rollover and have the ball roll back into the hole.

If you launch the ball too hard, it hits the second gate and it goes into the playfield. Launch the ball too weak and it goes into the hole without hitting the rollover (no points).
