Epic Quest tournament 3/23-3/30

After grinding a few levels, I can confirm that the bats and skeletons definitely seem to be the way to go XP-wise. A good run on either can give an entire level's worth of XP, which through monster battles could take 8-10 victories. This is around Level 40, however, so I can't speak for the higher levels.

I understand this is not everyone's favorite table, but a lot of people have been asking for more tournaments, so that is what we're trying to do. Each table has it's differences, which makes for variation within tournaments. There is a lot more work that goes into setting up a tournament than you probably think, but we're going to try to do them more often. This won't be the last, so if this table isn't your favorite, or you aren't going to be able to participate, don't worry, there will be more!

High Score Tournament: March 23-30

Team up with Max the knight on our Epic Quest table to win some loot! Our next high score tournament will be held March 23-30, on PSN and XBLA. The top three highest scores will an “I <3 Pinball” hoodie and a code for the next Zen Studios release!



To participate in this tournament, just complete a full game on the Epic Quest table on Pinball FX2 for Xbox LIVE® Arcade or Zen Pinball on PSN during March 23-30. There will be a random drawing for prizes so even if you don’t make it into the top three, you still have a chance to win! Winners will be notified via gamertag, so please make sure to check your messages after the tournament to claim your prize.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of Epic Quest either; oh well I'll still give it a go and as for the latest games that have come out I didn't realy like Blade, Moon Night, Epic Quest and Sorcerer's Lair for that matter.... When I think about it, this isn't bad considering I absolutely loved Spiderman, Wolverine, Iron Man, Paranormal, Ms. Splosion Man, Thor, Ghost Rider and Fantastic 4, Mars and X Men were okay so yeah 71.5% loved or were pretty fun vs. 28.5% didn't care for is pretty darn good..... Keep them coming Zen!!!!

I have practically no shot of getting in the top 3, since my character is level 35 and my highest score was a 187 million that I have yet to come close to matching again. But, I still think participating would be fun.

One thing I like about the Zen tournaments is that you don't have to do anything special to enter; just playing the table is enough (presumably you need to be connected to xbox live, of course).

If Zen ever implements tournament rules, I hope it's still just as easy to enter. E.g. perhaps when you start the table, a dialog box pops up which says "there is currently a tournament on this table, do you want to play with tournament rules?".

Well, this table is the first I've ever spent over an entire day of real time playing. And I'm still only level 96. And I just got a really high score the day before the tournament starts. I guess it's an incentive to try and do even better but I'd rather have just posted the score after the tournament started, lol.

Nice! I know there aren't many that like this table but I absolutely love it! In fact I think playing this table has made me better at some of the other tables as well.

You're not alone. I love this table as well. It's the only one I have a score of over 100 million on, and it's also the only game where I've seen the Wizard Mode. The leveling up is also a neat incentive to keep playing, even if all it affects is the value of jackpot bonuses and the strength of the monsters.
