I would explode in geeky glee if this were to happen. Would be interested to see Zen's interpretation of certain events and characters. Herd multiball!

I was just thinking about that the other night. A Walking Dead table could be awesome! It would also help Zen cash in on the current zombie craze lol.

I hadn't really ever considered the individual companies (Microsoft, Sony, etc.) in the equation as far as their requirements. Microsoft shot me in the foot AGAIN this week by putting off The Walking Dead Episode 1 til tomorrow while most everyone else got it Tuesday. More than likely to try to boost sales for their precious Arcade Next promotion since TWD will definitely sell more than Bloodforge. In any event, I'm sure things like that do play hell on trying to get a product "out the door" so to speak. Business will be business after all... regardless of the medium.

Thanks again for your reply! It's great to have a forum with a developer that will actually talk to its customers and fans! Oh.. and I know its the wrong thread... but a Walking Dead table would be cool! But I'd settle for PvZ for the Popcap surprise next month too...

Please take D3 into consideration as I know it's separate genres etc but it will affect sales for pretty much everything for a week or two.

I plan on playing nothing but D3 for a few days at least; I won't even be looking at the release schedule of other things .
SUPER unlikely that we would release that week

I'm happy to shed some light on the situation!

Digital distribution is really different from retail. It's a complicated process and it's still fairly new compared to retail. We generally don't get our official date until about a week or so before release and retail can get theirs months in advance. We've been publishing digitally for about 5 years now and each time is a totally different experience. The process is further complicated by each first party (like Sony, Microsoft, etc) since they have their own rules and ways of submitting games to be published. We can't just make one version of our game and send it off to be published by various first parties, each one has to be tailored accordingly and each first party has a system for submission that is totally unique to them. This makes trying to launch on all devices simultaneously quite a feat. Thoroughly confused?

Go to http://www.marvelpinball.com/ or our Facebook page. They both have screens, trailers, etc.
