    Nope

However, my priorities are more towards "table goals" -- completing the missions, wiz modes, etc.

I don't really care about the xbox-specific achievements and their associated "gamer points", however. What would be really nice in PFX2 (or next incarnation) would be a list of accomplishments for each table, not necessarily linked with xbla achievements.

Something like what TPA does for their tables -- I like how they have checklists of "basic goals" and "advanced goals". For those who don't have TPA: there are 5 basic and 5 advanced goals; completing the basic goals for a table gets you one achievement, and completing the advanced ("wizard"?) goals gets you the second achievement. Again, I don't care as much about the 2 xbox achievements themselves, but I like that there is a list of 10 different goals you can look at to see if you've accomplished.

(Well, not quite; in TPA they show you the 5 basic goals first, and once you've finished them they show you the 5 advanced goals, and you can't get awarded the advanced goals until you've completed ALL the basic goals. I had to rescue the princess twice on Arabian Nights, because the first time I did it I hadn't completed all the basic goals. Personally, I'd rather see the entire list at once.)

Don't get me wrong I like the achievements, but they aren't the be all and end of each table for me. To be honest I'm glad to get the easy ones out of the way, especially when one pops, pauses the screen and breaks ya flow/ concentration...
It is nice to dust up your friends, but truthfully not a lot of my friends play this game. On top of that on most tables you can score [email protected] and repeat shot after shot after shot and inflate your score, it becomes more a matter of endurance than skill. So achievements help me learn the table, learn the shots, learn the goals and thereby make me a table wizzard. Anyone can keep a ball in play making easy shots for 8 hours, but completing the difficult achievements at hand are my barometer of choice.

I couldn't agree more here. I love me some achievements, and gunning for them helps me learn the table. When I play a table for less than 30 minutes and already have the ONLY achievement that table has to offer, it loses its appeal quickly. I understand that you have to comply with Microsoft's silly restrictions, but you gave the XBLA version all of the "easy" achievements/trophies from Marvel Pinball. At least give us some challenge.

The only one I don't have yet is to save Cap's ball on Avengers. And to be honest, I did it multiple times (the bangback with Cap's ball) and it STILL hasn't registered. Talk about a buzzkill. This pack really let me down in terms of replayability. I will more than likely go back to complete wizard mode on each table of the pack, but I'm honestly in no hurry to do it if I'm not being rewarded for it. Sorry, but that's just my take on it. For future reference, next time pick one of the more challenging trophies of the three to make the single achievement on XBLA. It gives the table more replayability for those who want achievements.
Wizard Modes Completed: Buccaneer (1-6-11) SotD (1-20-11) Agents (1-24-11) Biolab (3-31-11) MSM (10-8-11) SL (10-12-11)
        Paranormal (10-26-11) S-M (11-13-11) MK (12-15-11) X-Men (12-19-11) GR (1-15-12) CA (1-17-12) EQ (2-16-12) Rome (3-11-12)
        Pasha (3-12-12) NM (3-28-12) Extreme (5-16-12) Thor (5-22-12) SM (5-26-12) WWH (6-21-12) FF (6-22-12) Blade (6-23-12)
        IG (6-24-12) PvZ (1-7-13) ESB (2-27-13) CivilWar (6-22-13) BF (7-2-13)

The PS3 trophies are easily enough found online. You can simply attempt them on your own. If you like collecting achievements, that's perfectly fine and I have no problem with that. But they don't add any real replayability. It's all superficial. Nothing is stopping you from challenging yourself.

Collecting all the achievements for a game feels like unlocking the games wizard mode.
If life's really just a game, it was designed to be played co-op.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the difference between trophy and achievements. I don't have the 360 so I'm out of the loop. I think the trophies in general are quite tough. Especially the Fear Itself ones. Just got the first 1 (blitzkrieg USA) that one was really tough for the first trophy. The others I have not unlocked. Avengers Multi-ball is not that hard to get to it's the the triple jackpot that I'm trying to figure out. Defeating the 7 missions and Skadi I have not done just yet. Usually short by 1 or 2 missions.

Can someone briefly explain this to me.

Microsoft has a limit or something for achievements in each game, so since PBFX2 already has a lot, they had to cut short this time around with how many they could include. So, they ended up choosing the easiest ones for each table, unlike the PS3 where we didn't get cut short and have 3 trophies for each.

Normally, I think the achievements and trophies pretty well line up. But Xbox has a limit of 99 achievements per game and Pinball FX2 is approaching that limit so we only got 1 achievement per table this time. I think we got the easiest of the PS3 trophies for each table.

The Trophies and Achievements are usually the same across the two platforms. However, that's not the case this time. While the PS3 got the typical 3 trophies per table, the Xbox 360 only got one achievement per table. The reason why is because the 360 has a cap on the number of achievements (99) it can have on each game. Pinball FX 2 is getting really close to that number.

What's worse is that the achievement for each table are the easiest trophies on the PS3 version. For example, "enter the arena" on the WW Hulk table.

OUCH that sucks. Arena is the easiest Completing both mission and side mission is the second one. Looks like beating the final wizard mode is the last.

I don't mind there being less achievements to gain, but the 3 challenges should've stayed. Next time, please give us the 3 challenges again and make the 1 achievement pop when you completed 2 of the 3 challenges.

Please consider doing the same to these tables during a patch as well, although knowing ms, that's probably out of the question.

I agree with BCLewis , I hope there is some form of goals/targets brought in as I think they worked well in TPA.

(Oh, and I'm now beating your Wiz score BC and yes, part of the reason for me posting this reply was just to type that!)
