I'm far more of a fan of 'pool than Punisher. Please read, of his current series, issues 1-17 or so for some of the most hilarious stuff you've ever seen in a comic. That said, I don't think either fits with a "T" rating, and to get them to that "T" would mean watering down the character to much. Wolverine is as close as we've gotten to someone with this much blood on his hands; even Marvel overlooks Wolvie's darkest times (x-force, 90's, bad comics) so it made sense when the table wasn't dripping in blood.

But these two, they're steeped in blood and not necessarily solely from evil people or bad guyz. Punisher would shoot you for smoking a joint (touchy about drugs) and 'pool could be your friend one minute and beating you senseless the next (in the fit of some "'pool-o-vision" mishap, like what happens to Hydra-Bob when 'pool thinks he's a pirate).

Some heroes should stay in the comics.

I would love to see a table featuring the "merc with a mouth" provided that his quips doesn't become too tedious. On the other hand a nice, dark Punisher table would also be pretty cool.

I have good knowledge on both Punisher and Deadpool! Both respective characters was able to hang with Wolverine and others in a fight without a big sweat. I'll be here all day talking about who is better or worse, the qualities of both characters, etc..etc!

However, the character that I enjoy the most is most certainly without a doubt, Deadpool. Imagine a table with all of his punchlines and antics. Seriously! It would be awesome. Nolan North can come and reprise his voice on the table and make it EPIC! That would be nice. A Deadpool table before a Punisher table is best imo. Also to commemorate Deadpool's first solo game release as well.

Think it would be just fine if it was PG. I mean you don't have to show insanely graphic deaths on the LCD screen or anything.

Now that I think about it, I change my vote to Deadpool. Don't know a lot about him or his comics, but by the sounds of it, he could have a Psychadelic table kind of like Infinity Gauntlet has. Way more interesting than just a regular character, IMHO.

Agreed. How many little kids are sitting around playing Zen pinball? I say pretty much none. Maybe a couple player's kids for a few minutes, thats about it. Zen act as if their entire fanbase is under 10 years old,LOL, when that is clearly not the case. I don't really understand why they are so hell bent on being kiddy ( ahem, Epic Quest anyone??).

as for deadpool. Only difference was the whole 4th wall thing. It seems to me that the only reason why deadpool is more known now compared to the mid 90's when he was introduced, was more or less the popularity due to video games and other media, not for the comic itself. When the deadpool comic was first released, it didn't sell worth a damn. Hence why it was stopped for a bit, and then it came back.... and then it came back with a vengeance.

Although, how can you NOT love the punisher shooting wolverine in the balls, then the face... and then running his ass over with a steamroller while laughing his ass off. Classic

I mean for a marvel character without any super powers what so ever besides the fact that the dude had all the gun porn gadgets out there and blasting mobsters heads off. What's not to love?!?!?!

Punisher = batman with balls, and lots of guns and not afraid to use them

I really wish Zen would do some M rated tables as dlc. Plenty of games do this already so I don't see what the big deal is. Don't get me wrong. I love the light-hearted nature that a lot of the tables have. And I appreciate the fact that the tables are very family-friendly. But I'm a grown man. I'm sure most of us here in the forums are of age and would like to see some really mature, dark, and/or gory content. Zen shouldn't put themselves in a box like this. Open it up and blow the doors off this mother

Deadpool easily. The Punisher was always kinda blah to me, but I do feel he's popular enough for his own table. Deadpool, on the other hand, is freaking hilarious and could be a really unique and creative table if done properly.

BTW, why didn't you make this a poll question?

I'm one of those guys that want to see something aside from Marvel yet if I had to choose I'd say Punisher since I've never heard of Deadpool. In the mean time I can't wait for the big announcement tomorrow concerning the Popcap Table!!!

    Deadpool...

Punisher is really a very dark / serious comic and they would have to *teen-i-fy* it for the rating i think. Where as Deadpool can just be... Deadpool, no need to tone him down as he's as close to a whacky loony-toons character as he can be.

    Deadpool for me!

Although I want to see a Publisher table at some point ( I would love it to have a dark look/feel about it like the Blade table). I would prefer to see Deadpool first as the whole 'breaking the fourth wall' thing that the character has going on would make for some great pinball I feel...
