Collections are imposible to purchase
Hello,
I have Windows 8.
I updated Pinball FX2 from the Windows Store and I gone to purchase the two collections, Star Wars and Classics, but always give me error.
Then I tried to purchase a single table. I purchased the Rome table and all was ok.
Before the update and now, I tried to purchase the collections many times, but always give me error.
One more thing, for the first table of Star Wars I get the message "NOT_LOCALIZED_YET".Comment

It's not a small problem, and we've done everything we can on our side. "Random" just means we have no way to reproduce it on our end.
Understand that I have to be diplomatic in the way I say things, because criticizing one's business partners in public is seldom productive.
I guess the only question is what's different between these updates and the other tables? Are there purchase dependencies? Region locks? Pinball fx version requirements? Perhaps all that can be removed from future table offerings so that rather than handling that at purchase time it can be handled by user updating the software. I think the bug is on MS end. But the key to solving it may be marking the content the same way as say sorcerers lair. If that's even possible.
I hope you're still working with Microsoft on this. When one of us call them, they assume its one person too stupid to work in their perfectly working store. When you guys call them at least they know its a wide spread issue impacting business.Comment

Possible workaround
Found this possible workaround by accident.
I went through the purchase process on the Surface Pro and got the same error as everyone else "NOT_LOCALIZE_YET".
I switched over to Windows 7 computer and went to Xbox.com to check my account for something else and I was going through my payment options and I don't remember how, but I had an option to confirm my payment for Star Wars Pinball, so I clicked Confirm and it purchased and click Done. Went to my Surface Pro and had the options to download the Star Wars tables and it worked!
I don't know if you can basically do the same workaround by going to Windows 8 desktop browser.
Hopefully that helps!Comment

Similar error
My issue is sort of similar. If I try to buy the Star Wars table (doesn't matter which), I get the error that I have to update my Pinball FX2. The problem is, there's nowhere in the program to "check for updates" and when I go to the Store, it only gives me the option to play.
So how can I get past this?
Thanks.Comment
