Also, I don't get how I can get to the sinkhole on the right (and if it matters which of those two sinkholes the ball goes in?) unless I have to do it by sending the ball into the MAX THRUST plunger lane on the left and then use the left plunger to get a sinkhole and beat the rival (as that's the only method I know of of getting the A, L and S targets to go away so I can access the sinkholes on the right). I haven't been able to play with enough accuracy to test this out yet.
Once you hit the mini-orbit on the far left, the diverter to the right plunger lane will open for a few seconds. You are suppose to hit that open lane with the left mini flipper (you only get one shot). If you are successful, then the ball goes to the right plunger and you just launch the ball into the hole.

Also, I can't figure out how to collect the points for the Han bounty. After hitting the Han spinner a few times I've noticed that some lanes become lit (not flashing) but hitting those lanes doesn't seem to do anything. Unless I'm collecting it without noticing. I expected that as I hit each lane, the light would go out but that doesn't happen.
I believe you need to hit all seven lanes (lighting up each one of those lights) to collect the bounty.

Third, is there any technique to completing the MAX THRUST mini-game because as far I can tell, it seems a bit random where the same strength of plunger shot will often have varied results.
I haven't figured that one out yet.

And finally, how the hell do you see what's going on on the EEV rollovers? I like a fairly static view (think I'm using view 7) and I thought the dynamic close-up screen that comes up sometimes would show me the EEV rollovers when relevant but that doesn't seem to happen so they are permanently hidden from view.
Try another viewing angle. I use view 6 myself and I can see them just fine.

And I think you actually lose the ball you were on, too, because it doesn't get caught.

So the moral is, if you get the Jabba Sharpshooter bonus, DON'T choose the 80m mission.

Had this happen to me the other day. This was the only time I have since had a chance at the 80m mission. Tried doing the Jabba's mission using the Sharpshooter and lost my last ball on this bug. Very frustrating. Learned my lesson

Also about the extra balls with the sharpshooter minigame, I believe there is a limit. This morning I noticed the sharpshooter minigame didnt show anymore extra balls after I had successfully activated a number of them.

Found another bug (not sure if it's been posted yet and I was able to reproduce on 360). When you're doing the Empire mission (I think it's the 60M one) where you have to demask the storm trooper, if you hold down the flipper buttons to speed through that animation, you loose the ability to collect the WHIP save... Which makes the mode really fun because unless you're a sharpshooter, it's really nice to be able to use the freakin WHIP save on that mission. ARGH! Happened to me twice.

And before that misery, I got all the way to max respect and the Hunt for Han Solo mission on 1 ball. Made the COMPLETE mistake of pausing the game to fill my baby's cup up with milk at the request of the wife (I guess her legs were broken) and then I ran back downstairs, kept playing and had a ballout on the search, so I didn't get to sarlacc, it took down two of my respect letters and I wanted to die. WHICH I consequently did.

Also, I've been able to somewhat dupe the skillshot trick (of holding down the plunger to slow down the scroll) but I wasn't able to duplicate it a la the video where you can then speed it up and slow it back down again. Wait a tic... Now that I'm saying that outloud, I'm thinking I didn't duplicate it at all... But I have been able to use it to get a ton of missiles which makes that first 50M mission a TON easier.

I don't think WHIP has ever been available for me on this mission. Come to think of it, I don't think I have ever passed it, my ball usually drains on the left or right.

I think WHIP is available until you shoot the Storm Trooper from what I remember, but when you have to hit all the ramps, I dont think WHIP save lights up.

            I could be wrong tho.

I think you're right and it may make sense on the Empire side because Boba is "unarmed". Even though I didn't think losing his gun had anything to do with the whip save. I don't however think is makes sense on the Hut side but maybe I'm just ticked that despite spelling his whole name that I can't finish the table! (I suck)

Ya, i was trying desperately to spell BOBA FETT. I have found it extremely hard. I have only completed the 60m hutt mission a couple of times. I have tried the 60m empire mission a number of times and still havent completed it. It is just sooo hard to do this without WHIP save.

Maybe you have to be really good at death saves, but I am playing on my android phone and still havent been able to perform one.

I find it much easier to just keep completing the 30m or 40m missions to get a highscore, but this gets repetitive fast.

Sorry if this has been asked before but on which missions can you use the missiles? I am pretty sure I have only been able to use them on the carbine missions (10 Million to 50 Million bounties).

sounds about right, I havent been able to use them on the 60 or 80 Million bounties, havent got any farther than that.

No me neither. I've got as far as the bit where you have to save Boba from the Sarlacc and you can only use missiles on the 10-50 million missions...and I think you can also use them to collect job shots when you're doing the 'Easy Bounty'.

Incidentally, I thought I'd mention a couple of things that some people may not have noticed because I've been playing the table for 3 or 4 days now and these are things that I've only just spotted:
                      1. If you shoot the left mini-orbit thingy (the far left shot) 5 times, the gate to the left hand plunger will open permanently. It only closes during multi-ball and some missions. Once you enter the left lane to start the Max Thrust game, you'll then have to hit it 5 times again to open it up.
                      2. There is actually a little gate from the right outlane to the right inlane. So if you nudge left just as the ball enters the right outlane, you can actually push it through to the inlane and save the drain. The gate is there to filter the ball into play from the right plunger lane when you miss your skillshot but it only just occurred to me that you could use it to save the ball from draining. I have successfully done it once too so I know it works.

Also, I'm trying to break my habit of just sitting and watching when I see the ball heading for the outlane and I'm trying to figure out which is the best way to nudge it and how to time it right. At the moment I'm trying to nudge in opposite direction of the outlane (i.e. if it goes for the right lane, I nudge left) in an attempt to hit the ball with the sidewall of the table, knocking it back into play. Was wondering if this is the right way to go or if I should be trying something else perhaps?

Yep! The Easy Bounty and the 10-50 missions are the only ones where you can cheat with the missiles.

I can confirm this, since I have defeated every mission at least once and completed the wizard mode.

How and when to nudge the table when the ball rolls down the outlane depends on the table. On Boba Fett I found the easiest way to get a bang back (as it's called) is just to nudge directly upwards (12 o'clock) just as the ball passes the hinge of the flipper. On most tables though, it's wise to nudge the right stick at a 10 or 11 o'clock position if the ball goes down the right outlane, and 1 or 2 o'clock if the ball goes down the left outlane.

Of course that all depends on how fast the ball is travelling; if the ball is rolling slowly (such as if the ball goes down the middle, but it rolls up the outlane a bit) then nudge a bit later.

If the ball is travelling quickly down the outlane, nudge to the left or right to reduce the ball's momentum and speed before attempting a bang back (this requires two nudges, so don't do this if you had a nudge warning recently)

Thanks for the advice but I think the bangbacks are the bit I understand ok. I was mainly asking about when you see the ball heading for the outlane, what can you do to stop it even going in there? Like I said, I've been mostly trying to nudge the side of the table into the ball but I wondered how other people approach this.

                            • App crash

The Boba Fett table keeps crashing shortly after launch (using iPad 1 with iOS 5). It used to work, but crashes every time now. I've closed the app, powered down, all the usual tricks but nothing helps.

I failed wizard mode twice today and I'd like to know how many points I would have gotten for completing it so I hope you remember maybe?
