Not Saving Highscores

Is there a reason why high-scores in local hot-seat multiplayer are not saved on the local high-score boards? It kind of stinks when you get your friends and family to play pinball together only to return to the game without the new high-score being saved. To be clear we are playing the Empire Strikes Back machine and are using the xbox 360 version.

High scores aren't recorded during multiplayer.

Yes, high scores are not saved to the leaderboards and trophies are not earned in multiplayer modes. It's a bit of shame as a lot of my best scores were earned playing hot seat mode with my wife. Those scores are saved locally only.
