Found an interesting, obscure glitch on Clone Wars for SWP (PS3)

  • Found an interesting, obscure glitch on Clone Wars for SWP (PS3)

    This happened while playing the Cloak of Darkness mission. I hit the second ramp to make the ball all green and glowing right as the mission timer ran out. Somehow the game triggered the ball-effect change after the mission ending had processed. So I was left with the glowing green ball and the little orange forcefields blocking the left and right ramps after the mission ended.

    I was able to continue for a while like this but most modes require the use of those ramps so eventually I came to a place where I was stuck and had to let the ball drain. I've attached a couple pictures I took along the way.

    Obviously this bug is unlikely to happen often because of the timing involved but I thought it was worth reporting.

    It happened to me. Time on mission ran out and I had green ball and two ramps blocked. I believe T6 ramp and main mission start ramp. I got around it without draining though. I spelled council using the other ramp. Then used the upper left flipper to access the main mission hole from the side. (How you spell REX) and the new then I just picked a mission and it was fixed.

      I wish I had picked a different mission now. Playing the Cloak of Darkness again, or maybe even Attack on Cristophsis, probably would have fixed it now that I think about what you're saying. Playing the Monster mission is where I got stuck with ramps I needed to shoot being blocked. I guess that's what I get for letting the game choose the mission for me.

      But on the other hand I've now hit two different Sith with the glowing green ball, how many people can say that?

        I had this happen again in a recent game and it did fix itself by playing same mission again.

        The only disappointing part was that the timing was much less tight this time. It was a full couple of seconds between when the mission ended and I hit the ramp that changed the ball. It might be worth Zen tightening up that mission-ending sequence code.
