Well, it's not as if they couldn't have made that table difficult also.
While I'm not enamored with the podracing idea, I agree they should have done one, just for something different. Using Masters of the Force as a reference, it has Vader v. Obi-wan from Episode IV, which is present is some form on two other tables. And that's not the only duplication.

Yeah , the Star Wars tables were ok, and thing cross my mind is the question.
How come that ZEN didn't do Star Wars POD RACER themed table?
Instead we gain Masters of the force(unplayable table, starting the modes is pain in the.....tummy).
Pod Racing is excellent theme for Star Wars table and has great possibility, not to mention the outwork of the table and modes.
I would love to see in the future if they build any of Star Wars franchise tables to look at the segments of all Star Wars universe, not only Movie storyline based tables.Last edited by Arie01; 09-01-2014, 12:58 PM.Leave a comment:

nah.....I still want them gone for producing an abomination like Jar Jar BinksLeave a comment:

I will not permit this stereotyping to continue. Yes, Jar Jar is a douchebag and all around terrible character. However, there is nothing wrong with the Gungans as an alien race. Those who hate all Gungans need to watch the first 4 episodes of Clone Wars season 4. The Gungans play a very heroic role in those storylines. Unfortunately Jar Jar is in them too. The last of those 4 episodes, "Shadow Warrior" shows just how far one Gungan will go to save his allies.
Also, don’t forget the Gungans main role at the end of “Phantom Menace” was to provide a diversion to occupy the main droid forces. They basically accepted a suicide mission to help the people of Naboo, who had always looked down on them as inferior.
This is a very noble and honorable race if you ask me. They deserve their own table. I would call it “Gungans, we’re more than just that idiot Jar Jar”.Leave a comment:

I like the subtle optimism, this fills me with (false?) hope.
It sounds like most of us are one the same page. here are my suggestions:
Episode 1
Episode 2
Episode 3
Ewoks (Covering: Caravan of Courage, Battle for Endor and the Endor part of Jedi)
Tatooine/Podracing
Obi wan Kenobi: from his life in training under Qui-Gon, to taking Anakin as apprentice, through to his known life in Ep 2-4 plus what ever occurred between 3 and 4. Basically the life of a Jedi.
Rebels (new tv show coming)
Future Ep 7 and any spin offs.
Alien Battles: a table where all the different alien races from the movies are featured and you need to work your way through them in a battle arena type set up.
Jedi council
While it might not be a favourite, I think I good concept and table could be made from the Gungans. Land, water, battles, there is some variety there.
But like Daverrthehutt said, the table lay out is what ultimately matters. I prefer the simplicity of a table like Empire Strikes Back, where all targets are fairly accessible, plus not too crowded or busy so there is a fairly large open space in the centre, but at the same time not overly repetitive so there are numerous ramps etc to access so there is a variety in how to achieve goals. I mainly play on tablet and mobile devices, and I find that colour scheme impacts visibility a lot. Keeping things fairly straight forward, not so busy, plus no yellows on greens (El Dorado, erghh).
Fingers crossed.Leave a comment:

Star Wars Holiday Special! (Seduction multiball all day, baby)
Star Wars: The Old Republic (lots of good ideas abound)
Tables for the prequel trilogy (The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith)Leave a comment:

As a lifelong SW fan, I’d also like to see more tables. There are plenty of characters and events to use as themes. I know the prequels weren’t the best movies, but I think how the table plays is way more important than the theme. So having said that, I would like to see episodes 1, 2, and 3. If people can't stand them that much then Zen could release them as single tables or all 3 in one pack. Then people who hate those movies can just not buy them.
As for other themes:
Yoda
Pod Racer
Force Unleashed video games
Wookies
Becoming a Jedi (passing the trials from Youngling to Padawan to Jedi Knight to Jedi Master)Leave a comment:

What would we like to see.....hmmm...
Ewoks table (or battle of endor)
Phantom menace ep.1
Pod racing
Attack of the clones ep.2
Revenge of the Sith ep.3
Order 666 (or whatever it was called) where you kill all the Jedi
New movies coming
Hmmmm
Those off the top of my head I guessLast edited by DiscoKing; 08-20-2014, 03:38 AM.Leave a comment:

More Star Wars Tables, I'm all in.
How about one of the Timothy Zahn Novels?Leave a comment:

Our original deal was just for the 10 tables, but I don't see any reason why we couldn't do more. What would you guys like to see?Leave a comment:

EA love an exclusivity deal don't they? I wonder if they know or care that it's one of the reasons why people love to hate them?Leave a comment:

I'm actually hoping for more as the SW lore is huge. That said I'm not sure about EA's exclusivity but it would be sad to think that's it on the SW tables as they did pretty well I thought.
Episode VII is far off though so who know.Leave a comment:

I've enjoyed most of them, but I kind of hoping and thinking they are done.
I'm not a big fan of the prequels, either, but it's telling that only one table - Clone Wars - is really dedicated to that part of the franchise. A lot of themes started to duplicate themselves on other tables.
I'd have pushed for a table that covers Episodes I, II, and III, but the best parts of those movies are already on the Masters of the Force table.
Only themes left I would like to see is:
Knights of the Old Republic
Kill the GungansLeave a comment:

Disney signed a pretty major licensing deal that will have all of EA's studios making Star Wars games. I'm pretty sure the deal is exclusive, meaning only EA studios will be able to make them. For now it's probably best to assume we won't see more Star Wars pinball, but stay hopeful you never know.
In the meantime maybe check out Guardians of the Galaxy, it's got a very Star Warsy vibe and is really well tuned for someone at your skill levelLeave a comment:
