Jeez Barb, just when I was about to leave, I see this...

No, I am NOT looking for a fight (otherwise, why would I say I'm leaving?!?!)!

You see! People are way too sensitive! Stop over-analyzing comments over the internet, people! Most times when you think someone is being disrespectful, they're really just passionate! Unless you can actually see the person, and really see their emotions or intentions, then all you can do is speculate! Damn internet has ruined the way people communicate and percieve each other. Do you see now why I usually only lurk?

OK, now I am gone for good! Can't fight with me if I'm not here, right? Sheesh...

Peeps here are very sensitive. I learned it the hard way. Welcome to the world of internet.

Just trying to keep the peace and keep others from trying to fight with you (regardless of your good intentions). You are certainly more than welcome to stay, don't take my warning as a bad thing, I just want you all to be able to speak your mind without it causing problems. I even agreed with you, about people taking things the wrong way. If someone does try to argue/fight with you, I just want you to be polite, regardless of what you think their tone is.

Oh yes, I can definitely agree. I'm rather desperate for new things to play on my Vita, and the two non-retail games I'm looking most forward to (Zen Pinball 2 and Retro City Rampage) are both getting stuck in release date limbo. I've got TPA to tide me over for my mobile pinball fix, but only so long you can play the same 8 tables before you start craving the rest of the tables in your collection (at this point I have every Zen/Marvel/TPA table released, as far as I'm aware).

At the same time, though, I've seen both ZP2 and RCR get hit with these release date troubles, so I understand the developers' pains.

Wishing for a release date before the 24th, unlikely as it might be though, as I'm going to be going on vacation for a week, and the long car ride there and back would definitely go faster with 34 pinball tables to play.

As this thread seems to have degenerated into a discussion concerning Zen Pinball and The Pinball Arcade, I'd like to offer my personal opinion. I've been an avid fan of virtual Pinball since the Amiga games by Digital Illusions (and of real pinball before that) and I've bought all Farsight and Zen pinball games for every PlayStation platform.
I cannot comprehend how anyone would say that the Zen games have better pinball physics (I'm one of those people who hates that spinning ball) and some of the older Zen tables also have inherent design flaws, maybe because they are not based on real tables, but I would recommend both games to any pinball fan, so I'm sorry to hear we'll still have to wait a few weeks for ZP2.

My real withdrawl isn't at Zen Pinball, but with the classic Digital Illusions' Slam Tilt Pinball. After much research, I found out that even with emulation settings it can't run on modern versions of Windows due to fundamental direct draw acceleration incompatibility. I really want to play those tables again with my modern pinball knowledge. I always felt they were by far DI's best tables and most complex.
