Guide for update from ZP1 and unlocking tables please

Now that it's on PSN EU can one of the mods explain what needs to be downloaded and in what order to upgrade and transfer from ZP1.

Couldn't see a FAQ for this but maybe I missed this.

I'm not a mod, but I went through the process last night.

1.) Make sure you are using the same PSN account that you bought the ZP1 and MP tables with.
2.) Download and install Zen Pinball 2 itself.
3.) Start up the game and download the patch (1.01).
4.) On the main menu, press the square button (import tool)
5.) The import tool will now check your purchase history and one by one prompt you with the downloads. *
6.) Keep in mind, that both the PS3 version and Vita version will be listed in the download box. Make sure you select the appropriate download.

*All tables need to be re-downloaded (demo and unlock), except for The Avengers Chronicles. That one only needs the unlock, since it's pre-installed with the game.

yeah, I think you need to DL the DEMO first, then the unlock. I am doing it right now, and it wasn't very clear on what you are supposed to do.

Yes someone please clarify what needs to be done to get all the old tables back for ZP2. I downloaded ZP2, but it only shows some of the old games. I see people here talking about them playing Mars and others but thats not even on my list! I tried to download classics but it didn't work. Then I go to import and theres multiple downloads and I have no idea where to start or if it will even work right f I do it.

This is very disappointing, I was hoping it wouldn't be so convoluted to get this up and running, sheesh.

A tiny time saving hint

Instead of doing everything manually in-game which requires you to be there to click though every step (download then install), you can save yourself a little time by automating the downloads...

Go to the Playstation Store and go to Zen Pinball 2 add-ons. There you will see all additional tables (the ones you own will already be "Free") There you can add each to cart then confirm purchase and then download all. While this happens you can click over to TV or something so you don't have to spend time overseeing the whole process.

That upgrade is really BAD!!!!!

No instructions. No guide as to what to do. Takes forever. WOW! Dissapointing is not the word. Nauseating is better!

Are you using a DualShock 3 controller?

Some one discovered that you can't use the PS3 remote (and possibly third party controllers) when using the import tool. It's a weird glitch.

You are correct it was using the remote which produced that error.

OK, I'm there now.. I'll share what worked for me as an ZP1 upgrader..

1. Go to Store and Latest Releases and click on Zen Pinball 2.
2. Download Zen Pinball 2 "trial"
3. For each table (or table pack) that you own there is a "demo" file and an "unlock" file. Download both.
4. When they have all downloaded install all of the items in turn by clicking on each bubble.
5. Start Zen Pinball 2.

That method worked fine for me.

Not all games are finished but they will appear in the store in due course.

No doubt a headache of a day for Zen Studios but we do appreciate all your hard work.
