  • Nudge mechanic has been changed significantly

    It seems you can nudge the table a lot harder. I have attempted several nudge passes in which it launches the ball to the opposite side slingshot instead of the flipper. In fact, as long as the ball is not going slow through an inlane you can perform a medium strength nudge to perform a flipper pass and not trigger a tilt warning. Also, hard nudges often do NOT register tilt warnings. This has allowed me to use different techniques more liberally like inlane friction.

    Yes the nudge is crazy powerful! Flipper passes were easy before so thats not a problem, but now doing a slap back save is much easier.

      With original ZP, this was the case... many hard nudges available. Have you tried marvel tables for nudge sensitivity?

        one of my friends top rated in the world messaged me about this he was pissed as hell , as far as threatening to quit zen2 , i don't know im not as good as him maybe he use to do some crazy moves on the originals.

          I think the nudge has gotten stronger too, tried to switch ball on flippers(dead switch, maybe) & the ball bounced off the slingshot...Just gonna have to adjust...I use left stick for nudge. I cant nudge down anymore just up, left & right. I havent had a ball go down the outlane yet,, im super awesome,whats up ladies,,but I imagine its gonna be harder for bangbacks, I wonder if that was the reason behind it.. Also, i read on a shogun00 reply that now Every Table has 3 Nudges before the 4th one causes a tilt..

            Yep! Technically the game ignores the first hard nudge. The second one will give you your first tilt warning and so on.

              3 nudges available? That would be good. Still the nudge from the flipper now is overpowerful. I am afraid to use it. But from the external it didn't seem to be so strong. At least this has been my first impression. Hopefully is not bugged like before, when sometime it didn't nudge at all!!

                You can always adjust the power of the nudge, if it is overpowering, you are hitting it too hard.

                  I'm happy you can nudge the tables more, no big deal to me. I use the six axis to nudge though and now it's a bit too sensitive on some tables. I sometimes bump the table now without meaning to, a little annoying.

                    If you are using the default setting for the nudge (left analog stick), then just hit the stick lighter.

                      the upper Flippers are over sensitiv, so i can't get the Ball past the upper Flipper, while holding 1 Ball on the upper Flippers Side ... changing sensitivity did not help ... ( on all Tables )
                      by the way ,i notized some other interessting Changes ... on Spidey ,if you defeat all 4 Villains & lock the first Ball for startihg Clone'Mode you will get a countdown ( 35 seconds ) for each Ball you have to lock in for Clone'Mode . No more endless Point earning there
                      On a side Note , Ballphysiks are so awsome , i started leveling up JJ Loop at the last Mainball & made Stage 622 in 1 Playthrough , nuts lol
                      On Epic Quest the Shot in the Swordramp will not stop on the right Flipper any more ( Shieldramp still does ) , i used to do a left - rigth Combo durring the Princess'Multiball,
                      But It was sure worth to wait , Zen 2 rocks , (brainz )

                        That's interesting, but it's not a big deal to me. I've never took advantage of that part and always focused on the Clone Chaos Multiball, since I'm really good with mulitball modes.

                          I noticed that as well. Both upper and lower flippers seem to always act simultaneously even with different sensitivities. No more two-stage button action. It only comes into play during multiballs but I do miss that function.

                            I hear you but sometimes in the heat of battle its hard to just nip it, only recently I seen that you can do unlimited light nudges. Im still workin my way up to the shogun00 & caper26 level. %) ...After some work in the lab, Ill put it in my pin game.
