I'm certain it's absolutely 100% my fault, but please look down from your Zen clouds, and shower these poor plebe

Where are you experiencing the error?

I think I have gotten an error like that when there was problems with the psn store and I had trouble accessing my download history. This might be affecting the import tool. Usually it gets fixed within a day. Though it might be something else.

In Alabama. Just after confirming purchase. Using my bank card. PSN hotline told me maybe I'd overused my bank card, and the bank may have put a hold on as a precaution. The bank said, "nah, you're good to go". Then the PSN hotline says, "why don't you wait 24 hours and see what happens?" That sounded like the worst advice I could have gotten. So, I asked them, what if I bought a PSN Network Card, would that clear things up?" Christine, the nice PS hotline lady, seemed to think that was just the ticket. I'm not so convinced...

When does this happen? Just when you try to purchase tables? Does it give you an error message or just the code? I'm guessing it has something to do with your PSN account, but I can't be sure without details.

The Operation Was a Complete Success!

For some Sony-esque reason, the network would or could not access my bank account. It would have been nice if only it had told me so rather than the mysterious AN ERROR HAS OCCURRED (80023102), but that's neither here nor there. The pleasant-voiced "Christina" at the Sony Hotline also had nary a clue as to this cryptic numerology, and suggested I wait 24 hours, pray, and hope it resolves itself. Any of my fellow pinball afficianados out there KNOW that this was no solution, at all. So, I decided to go to my favorite purveyor of video games and all things game accouterments, and buy a Playstation Network Card. Suffice to say, this worked like the proverbial charm (was there ever a proverb about charms?). I am now downloading like a crazy person. Thanks all, to your suggestions, as useless as they turned out to be. I kid. Oh, and Barb? Still waiting on the friendship accept. Take your time, I'll need to hone my flipper-fu.

Huntsville, waaaay on the other side from you. Not only do we share a common state of the union, I'm also a HUGE fan of Warren Worthington III, a.k.a "Angel, Archangel, Death, and Dark Angel". Nice to meet ya, and thanks again for the helping hand!

OK! That error code is coming from the PSN Store. It means an error occurred with charging your credit/debit card.

The rep is most likely correct. Some banks will temporary block transactions (for 24), if you do a lot of multiple charges at the same place/location/site.

Yes! Buying a PSN card will do the trick, since the redeem code system is separate from their billing system.

That's awesome! You need to help me convince Zen to make a table with Archangel. It's actually one of the main reasons I came to the forums initially, lol!
