I used to love this table. But i had some control over this table. The way i look at it is if its not broke dont freaking fix it. What makes a table fun is being able to get the cool things a table offers. I used to be able to hold the ball and go back and fourth on ramp combos getting a extra ball. Now that is completely broken. It would be one thing if it was a bit harder but its almost impossible. I load this table up everyday now that i dl zp2 i even deleted the old apps thinking theres no need for them now this answers everything all my tables one game and im thinking the new v12 will grow on me but its not. I dont like the table anymore and i refuse to load it up. Crank shaft is impossible getting combos is impossible table is broken in my opinion it was designed with the original physics so leave it the hell alone. I realised the way i played the table before i couldnt do so i tried new ways to score points realizing that the new way i could score wasnt even fun so why play the table. Please fix this or patch it. Make the right combo ramp bigger and easier to hit if were not allowed to grab the ball and make it so the ball travels a bit faster around the ramps expecially on the left side. Fix the crank shaft it sucks now.

I did that for the first game and it just didn't work for me. I got a couple of ball drains and I had to start all over again.

I went with the way that was most comfortable for me and got the job done.

I got the upgrade trophy on Sunday. I'm not focusing on scores at the moment. I'm currently trying to get all of the trophies (only 5 more to go).

I did the tire upgrade and I just did the following pattern.

1.) Shoot the ball up the left ramp.
2.) Nudge pass the ball to the right flipper.
3.) Repeat 1 and 2, until you hear "watch out" (final tilt warning).
4.) Hold ball with the flipper, until I see the "status report" flashing on the DMD (tilt warnings reset by that time).
5.) Repeat the above until the upgrade is available.

It was a mundane process, but I got the trophy on my third attempt.

Due to the slightly faster ball this is not possible anymore - the ball will slowly roll over the flipper every time (nudge does not help).
Yeah, it seems like gravity stops existing at this point, since the ball "creeps" up the flipper, and doesn't seem to deccelerate due to gravity as it should...

Haha, saw you on the Board there Mr Shogun! The trick to the bang back here is to nudge in the right direction, but I know what you mean. I'm stuck on 6th place since yesterday, played all day and wasn't able to better my score OR to complete the upgrade-trophy. I make 50mio on the the first ball consistenly but then it's like some switch is turned - and I get 2 balls drained in like 1 minute, my usual strategies just seem to stop working at this point (especially the death save). Very frustrating. I got f'ed like this 3 times in a row with only 1 ball left to lock in the upgrade hole for the the upgrade-trophy.
I still feel that I have a realistic shot at 1st though - as long as nobody tops the 250mio currently up there (On zp1 my record was 270mio). Well it's only out a week now, if I remember right the top score on zp1 was something in the 20billion range, so better be quick if I want to strike that (Being 1st on a Zen table) from my bucketlist

Once you figure it out it makes things so much easier than in zp1. I'm able to pull off deathsafes almost 100% of the time now where it used to be like 10%. I'm afraid though that will lead to even more ridiculous scoreboards than in zp1.

Soft Nudge = Pressing the analog stick up slightly.
Hard Nudge = Hard flick on the analog stick or pressing it all the way up.

I think the accelerometer nudge is now full analog. It seems to work like a real tilt pendulum now. At least on the Vita. My old nudge from the ps3 now tilts the machine, straight up, no warning or discussion.

I didn't play V12 enough to know the nuances of the tables like you guys, because I was always waiting for the PSN physics to be brought up to speed. I'll say this in its defense, though - I think it's one of the tables that really benefits enormously from the new portrait mode. It's so much easier to see what's going on now.

So...I threw in a couple of hours more (there go my saturday chores ) and found some workarounds for the problems I've been having. (EG if you have problems with the crankshaft subtable try hitting the right target with the right flipper instead going from left to right and vice versa - this was actually punished in zen1).
I also noticed that some shots are accesable a lot easier now - turntable/nitro for example. But what seems to be consistent and a huge turnoff for me is the random draining through the middle. This happens way to often. So if anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated.
Other than that, did any of you experience lags during multiballs? That cost me a new record twice now

Well, for me it's not about what "Pinball should be" it's about a table that had specific mechanics that are necessary to complete specific tasks. And "just holding up the flipper" is not the part that requires skill, it's the shot that makes you able to just catch it that requires skill. I had these shots mastered to the point that I used them to change sides instead of using nudge for that. That being said I still was able to get a decent score from the get go (Top 25) but I see alot of problems with trophies that rely on said mechanics.
