  • HELP! did the zen team make a horrible change?

okay... so i imported ALL 18 of the tables i bought from zp1&marvel and it went fine... but i seem to remember the skillshot for these tables being easier and pressure sensitive and i could nail a skill shot every time... now it seems like it just fires away. how and why did zen change the way skillshots are done?

edit: for example... in eldorado holding the left flipper open and launching shoots the ball into the hole that flipper is
blocking, and now it shoots it way above the flipper and the moving curve stays still... in zp1 sorcerers lair, gently pressing launch fills up a tiny amount of the purple fluid in the vial, however, in zp2 sorcerers lair, gently pressing launch causes it to fill up all the way and it starts steaming as if you were pressing hard on the launch button... this makes a skill shot impossible!... i cant get it on paranormal or any of the other tables either...

make sure you are launching the ball with the manual launcher (the analog stick). x now auto-launches the ball at full strength. why the change, i have no idea.

I'm sure it's because the Vita doesn't have analog buttons and they need both versions to be identical.

If you ask me, using the analogue stick as the plunger makes it slightly more realistic than pushing the cross button. Besides, theoretically it makes shots more accurate (I say theoretically because I've not got the hang of it yet).

You're right about Eldorado, on the old table, launching the ball full pelt would get it into the hole behind the top left flipper every time, in theory just hitting X on the new version should do the exact same but it doesn't. I have no idea why Zen changed it as pressing X on ZP was a "manual launch" anyway considering the DS3 buttons are pressure sensitive. I suppose they changed it to give the game a more authentic pinball feel?
