You like Tim & Eric and weird stuff like that, I highly recommend you watch Archer. You'd love it.
The first two seasons are on Netflix streaming!

I'd like to see a pinball table based on a pinball table based on itself. It'd kind of be like taking a picture of yourself in the mirror of you taking a picture of yourself.
That or something with cute little pandas.

It's a cartoon from the creator of Sealab 2021. Archer is like a cross between James Bond and a frat guy whose flunking college. If you have FX, I recommend watching a few episodes. It's not for everyone, but I find it funny/entertaining and it would make a good theme for a pinball table even for those who do not recognize the character.

Iwata already said that Nintendo will not pay for exclusives for the Wii U. However, that doesn't mean that they wouldn't let a third party studio like Zen work with one of their characters for a low licensing fee. A 4 pack of Nintendo pinball tables could easily be the best selling downloadable on the Wii U/3DS, but some random Kirby table thrown under the Zen Pinball title probably wouldn't give Nintendo or Zen any great additional exposure even though it'd definitely be their highest selling DLC table for Zen Pinball on Nintendo consoles. I don't plan on buying a 3DS or WiiU, so I'd just have to sit back in envy.

Edit: I guess the conclusion i'm drawing is that a Nintendo exclusive table isn't a definite by any means. Microsoft has been known to push hard for exclusive content and Sony tries as well. Zen benefits most by having their content spread across all consoles so they need strong incentives to spend resources on exclusives. I'm positive Zen has Nintendo exclusives on their mind, but it's really up to Nintendo if that dream becomes a reality. There might actually be a higher probability that Nintendo would want Zen to create a Nintendo published pinball game than to allow Zen to create a Nintendo themed table or two for Zen Pinball.

To be honest Wii U might even be the best version!
Man it would be awesome to work for a company like Zen. Then I wouldn't be able to speculate what's going on anymore. In most cases I would already know.

The big N has been behind Sony and M$ since the PS2 and the Xbox...I think these machines will hold more capabilities and a lot more ram and power to do things with....just my 2 cents....can't wait for new table announcements!
That's not the type of conversation I was going for. I'm not here to say what platform is the best. My only reason for even stating anything about the WiiU is because Nintendo will finally have a Zen pinball title outside of the 3DS. Also the possibility of having Nintendo exclusive tables is really a HUGE win here. Not interested in the "hardware" discussion.

I guess another interesting "Where is ZP2 going?" question would be: Will we ever see a table that isn't regulation/standard size? Or how about a table with another whole table underneath it (make it a fantasy theme with adventurers going in the Underdark or something).

I said in that other thread that I wasn't interested in any more Marvel tables (I'm just not a fan of many of them), but a Dr Strange table I would buy so long as it has a strong magic/fantasy feel to it. That way I can pretend it isn't another super-hero table.

It's also awesome to hear that there are 12 new tables in the works?!? YES!

Don't pass up on x-men. I thought the same thing then I finally realized how deep the table really was and it became my favorite. Blade was one of those I was adamant about and didn't care for it. Since ZP2 was released I have grown attached to it but not as much as the other marvel tables I love. Ghost Rider is the only marvel table that I don't particularly care for.

So top marvel tables for me are.

Fear Itself (nothing can beat this table for me. It is the best designed table i have ever played)
    X-men
    Thor
    Fantastic Four
    Moon Knight
    Iron Man
    Infinity Gauntlet
    Avengers
    Blade
    Captain America
    Spiderman
    World War Hulk
    Wolverine
    Ghost Rider
