My suggestion would be a new view: a top view with a vertical scrolling (like Pinball Dreams/Fantasies) as I'd love to play this way. It would be an important addition, and not so difficult to do.
Pinball fantasies was the great game back in the days but please don't bring back the retro physics of the 90's pinball games
Pinball is not played with air filled balloons.

A Japan table. It could draw from Samurai missions, geishas, castles, famous Japanese monsters like tengu (a long nosed demon), shrines, fairytales/folklore, Mt Fuji... I'd love to see cherry blossoms blooming on a pinball table.
A table that changes seasons as you play... Set it in a world where time doesn't run right and must be fixed. Certain missions are linked to each season.
A Sherlock table would be pure love. Unfortunately, I'd probably be so busy drooling over any table images of Benedict Cumberbatch that I'd have an inordinate number of ball drains. LOL A general Holmes table would be pretty awesome too.
For a few more unlicensed table ideas:

A steampunk table where you can augment your character with clockwork parts and devices. You have to hit some kind of crazy machine like a giant mechanical brain that's controlling the table. Steampunk vehicles could play a part in certain missions.

I would love to see a Roman Empire themed table. There was a very basic one in Last Gladiators Pinball on the Sega Saturn that I used to love playing, even though it was super simplistic by today's standards. There are lots of built-in mission and mode ideas and tons of historical material to work with there.. Coliseum, Aqueducts, Senate etc.. Best of all there's no licensing to worry about either.
You mean like this. Unfortunately this is an x-box exclusive table.

Like the idea of Rock band theme tables, maybe even dedicated to a particular song.
For example "Slade" Runaway table, or Gun N' Roses "Welcome to the jungle." Instead of marvel characters, you have the band set up different parts of the table, the ball could play various chords when hitting the correct ramp.
The genre would be pretty profitable and the bands themselves could have fun with it.
Much thanks to Zen studios and all your fabulas tables!
