Official table / theme idea suggestion thread

On the Amiga (And later also on other platforms) you had the Pinball Dreams/Fantasies/Illusions by Digital Illusions. This was a classic series. It would be very cool to have "remakes" of these tables in ZP2:

I'd give anything to see some John Carpenter themed tables centered on some of his older films. My personal favorites would be:

- The Thing
- The Fog
- Escape From New York
- Big Trouble in Little China

All have excellent soundtracks/dialogue that would lend themselves well - especially Big Trouble in Little China. Jack Burton's one-liners are just too good!

Would also love a few Mad Max tables.

- Mad Max 2 The Road Warrior
- Mad Max 4 Fury Road

The Thing could be just like the Aliens vs pack (The Prequel, The Thing and The Thing Game.)

With all the Fox tables recently added, I was wondering if anyone thought of coming up with a Simpsons or Futurama table.

Likewise, the latest Bethesda tables make me fancy a Dragon Age and Mass Effect table.

What do you think about it?

The Prisoner; cult TV series of 1967

A fiftieth birthday present for this great show.
There are many excellent design feature possibilities in the show's interiors, exteriors, characters and plots.
Probably enough for two tables. Examples;
The penny farthing.
"Rover."
The observation room with super revolving see- saw.
Number 2's spherical black chair.
The tables and chairs that emerge from under the flooring in number 2's house.

The show had great lines like "I am not a number, I am a free man!" And magical music.
Each one of the 17 episodes has a plot-line that could be made into a table mission.

I don't think any Prisoner table has ever been done, for shame! It would be brilliant!

Some of my favourite tables from the old Digital Illusions series of pinball games on my old Amiga would make great themes in a similar style: Partyland, Million Dollar Gameshow, Nightmare, Babewatch (loved that 'surfin' style table and music)

A 'History of Aviation' inspired table could be cool
A Viking style table
Some geographically inspired tables, for example: Scotland, with the highland mountains, Loch Ness Monster, bagpipes, deep fried chocolate bars and the legend of the illusive haggis with legs shorter on one side of its body so that it can run around the mountain tops.

FUTURAMA

It's the episode where they introduced Blurnsball that makes me want this so much. I can just imagine the Blurnsball announcer shouting "Multiball! Multiball!" during said modes, and maybe "Blurn! BLUUUUUUUUUUURN!!!" when obtaining a jackpot. I often find myself blurting those out myself when in multiball mode on most tables.

I'd actually really like a 90s Action Anthro Cartoon themed table like an homage to cartoons like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Street Sharks/Etc. It may seem like an odd theme, but I think it woulb be epic if done right.

I read through this entire thread today...I see that some of the ideas posted years ago have made their way to actual zen tables

Here are some of the ideas already mentioned that I'd love to see:

Inception - a multi-table with each level of the dream state?
Scooby Doo
Iron Maiden - this might already exist somewhere?
Wonders of the Ancient World -or perhaps Civilization?
Atlantis
Alice in Wonderland
Clue
Call of Cthulhu
Willy Wonka
Jurassic Park/Dinosaur Theme
Wizards (the animated movie)

Some of my Favorite Movies:
Caddyshack
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
O Brother Where Art Thou?

Forrest Gump
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure - might be too similar to BTTF though
Contact - I would love to see that spinny, vortex thing on a pinball table
Minority Report - it has the wooden ball(s) with the names on them that come out of the chute

Some of my other ideas:
A Stock Market game which plays off the Buy Low/Sell High mission in Moon Knight, but made into a full-scale market experience
Plague/Infection - I have the Infection app on my phone, and it's really fun to create a disease to try and wipe out the world's population. Or flip side - save the world.
Great sound effects too (coughing, hacking, sirens, etc...)
A word game loosely based on Scrabble or Words with Friends where you try to make words from letters you obtain from the table

I'd like to see new tables with the following themes that already exist on older tables:
Cars/Racing
Ocean Adventure/Pirates - think Master & Commander or Pirates of the Caribbean
An updated space game - I think someone else mentioned a MARS sequel idea?

A make-a-table table. You start with a mostly empty white field, and modes add new features to the playfield. Maybe with some element of player choice - do I want a ramp or a bank of targets there?

I've been wondering about this for a little while.
Any chance we could ever see the ability to create your own table?
I think people would go nuts for this, if there were enough options.
